Yes, I did. Not just something. A lot actually.
You are really immature and don't have the temperament for participating in public discourse.
I also found out you are ignorant about issues you try to sound knowledgable in, and your use of written English is very poor. Pay attention to spellings.

I thought as much. How can a small dam make River Niger and River Benue to overflow?

What are the records of the average depth of River Niger and River Benue for the last 50 years? Would dredging minimize the flood?

Many areas have never experienced this kind of flooding..

The government is still clueless on the major factors that led to the floods.

Gravity, the Lagbo Dam is on a highland. The release of the dam water has a ripple effect across the Benue and Niger river because many Nigerians have built their home on the banks of the river.

Big lies from the pit of hell.

Money to build dam in Nigeria was embezzled.

The dam in Cameroon opened to irrigate their land which Nigeria was aware of the the effect but tget overlooked it.

What has age got to do with you being ignorant and lacking in temperament?

You need to stop using a coping mechanism known as the invincible ignorance fallacy, (argument by pigheadedness), where the person in question simply refuses to believe the argument, ignoring any evidence given, but resorts to other tactics to compensate.
In your case, compensating is by insulting the other person. Stay on the issue. Leave the insults. It won't take long to realize those who aren't contributing meaningfully, just a waste of space. Those who like to hear the sound of their voice alone, even when it lacks all sense of reality.

PS. Ignorance is not an insult. It just means you don't know. Nobody in the world is expected to know everything. There are tons of thing I don't know, and would have been happy if you used this as a learning opportunity for me and others on NL, but you compensate by insulting me.

If it's the torrential rainfall , then why is that that the flood doesn't happen every year .

Why is it that it happens once every 10 years after the Cameroonians open their dams .

I am not convinced the Minister knows what he's saying. The flood is well above what normal rainfall and swelling of rivers will cause. This flood is due to sudden, abnormal release of water from somewhere.

True.

Now this is Good that you pointed this one out
Awolowo road is as a result of the torrential rain that fell yesterday/today
Now compare the water with that of kogi/Anambra/bayelsa/delta /Ondo that did not see rain but the water is 3m high

don't let this people deceive you with lies to cover their ineptitude,if the flood is from tributaries why is the river Niger from kogi-jebba up to kanji not flooded?why is it only the benue river feed by rivers that flows directly from northern Cameroon flooded?if is heavy rain then the river cross in cross river will be swollen and flooded because it is bigger than river Niger or benue in size and width,if you can access a current goggle earth satellite image of river benue course it will prove beyond this nonsense cover-up the true source of the flood
Re: Cameroon’s Lagbo Dam Not Responsible For Nigeria’s Flood – FG by dannie007(m): 8:32pm On Oct 20, 2022
Dredging reduces Flood. Rivers are Natural Dams. The River floor is ready filled with Sands wash from the Mainland into this Rivers. Eg River Niger and Benue.

When Cameroon built their dam, Nigeria was supposed to do the same. Somehow those funds were diverted. The FG knows that when the dam in Cameroon releases water, it will effect all communities along the Benue. This along with poor land management from the FG and rains, no surprise this has happened. And it will keep happening until something is done.

Has the seasons shifted?

Stop buying into the Jewish bs called climate change.

There is no data to support the climate change hysteria .

Its not science but politics and business driving the whole climate hoax.

PhD in Human Climate Anthropology is speaking.

massive flooding is not a Nigerian problem, its a global problem ATM; this is the worst flood in more than a decade in Nigeria despite the same rainy season, that should tell you something.

https://news.yahoo.com/nigeria-flooding-worsened-by-climate-change-kills-more-than-600-and-displaces-13-million-181337433.html

And yes present flood problem has been attributed to climate change. below are reports from experts such as United nation environment protection. They should know because they are the experts.

https://www.unep.org/news-and-stories/story/how-climate-change-making-record-breaking-floods-new-normal

https://www.npr.org/2022/08/03/1115384628/how-climate-change-drives-inland-floods

https://www.climate-change-guide.com/floods-and-climate-change.html

Now if u dispute the climate change rhetorics and claim it's a hoax, what research have u done in your capacity as a doctoral fellow in climatology to disprove the above.
Dont tell me about conspiracy theory or some bogus claim by anti- global warming politicians. I'm not interested.
I want scientific evidence backed by research, facts and due diligence to prove that climate change is a hoax. what research paper have u written to support your own narrative.

I'm not an expert in climate science but I know climate change is real as far as Nigeria is concerned.
The sahara desert has completely taken over the sahel and keeps encroaching on the savanna vegetation, thus forcing cattle herders to move deeper into forest zone for grazing.
The lake chad is almost gone, it has shrunk to 10% of its size within 40 years.
The coastal region in some areas like Ilaje, Ondo state has been swallowed by the rising sea level driving the inhabitants inward.
If the above are not due to climate change, then I don't know what else it could be.
