I think they’ve been arresting oil thieves in the past but they went soft on them later on.

If u remember one of the allegations against the former EFCC boss Magu was that he disposed off seized vessels and the products therein without following due process .

Maybe due to the growing concerns about how much we are losing to oil theft , the security operatives suddenly wake up to their duties once again
