They couldn't even control the price of food, petrol, gas, accommodation... now they are in power, so what exactly are they saying

Tinubu can't implement any manifesto when he is not in power. How will he do it? Then the old manifesto that has not been implemented, the manifesto was that of Buhari and he is the only one who can implement his own manifesto.

To even make it worst, he made the promises with his own mouth, Buhari didnt talk much like Tinubu, so what happened?

Is it that he didnt know that Buhari wasnt competent but supported him anyway so he turn around and do emilokan

Or is it that he honestly felt they could do it as a team but they ended up failing woefully

He was not in government. There is a limit to what he can do.

As far as we know, he has never advised Buhari has he he ever condemned him for failing to fulfill those promises, neither has he apologized to Nigerians for those failures, intact he doesn't even honor press interviews.
Yet he's releasing more and more promises, and to make it more insulting, he's doing that through proxies

It is not possible to implement right away. Aside the political will, the budget is always what guides what the president implements. Most of what you see in the draft of the manifesto is not enshrined in the budget. That's why if you are not at the helms of affairs, even as a VP, you can't influence much.
