Personal Indept Analytical Differences Between Tinubu, Atiku & Obi. by nairamaniac: 8:11am On Jan 18, 2023
1 TINUBU
Tinubu would create, actualise profits from his intelligence&creativity. Also, Tinibu is the biggest workaholic amongst the 3 candidate.
One on One, Obi is personally more hardworking than Tinubu. However, Tinubu works with/As a Team.
Obi can never work as much/hard as a Team as well/much as Tinubu.
Cause Obi is more timid/more careful of wastages.
Tinubu fears no wastage, cos there is always excess/abundance within his reach to cover up all wastages(errors).
Excesses like Taxes, Loans, Returns from states funds he is in control of.
Tinubu's plus side is that he is the most connected of the 3 candidates. Tinubu is far more highly connected to specialists of various technical fields than both Obi&Atiku.
Heads of both Local&Foreign Brands would be more attracted to work with Tinubu ahead of Atiku&Obi. Reason being that he has the best track records with Companies, Brands, Political-associates, Lagos Factor(habing one of the best state economies in Africa),

However, after sooo much profits actualized by Tinubu's Government, he would loot very highly from its proceeds.

2. ATIKU
Atiku would not create anything new. Atiku is the least creative amongst the 3 candidates. Atiku's vision is limited to what Nigeria already currently has. It's assets and Government operating facilities eg NNPC, LNG, NPA.

Atiku would not go further than what he already sees and all we already have.
He would focus on selling state assets, opening up the economy for private sectors and foreign investors.
Even though he has best of intentions, his programs would be compromised by his own personal/selfish interests.
He would loot high upon not generating as much funds/profits as Tinubu.
Atiku is the dullest of the 3candidates. He lacks the charisma/intelligence to even defend himself(even when innocent). Obasanjo slanders him of being gay and the stigma defeats him.
Wike goes against him for not dropping Ayu and yet Wike was equally guilty of what led to Ayu being there till end of the primaries.
Atiku has the lease level of reachout&relationship to Technocrats. All Technocrats claims credit to have discovered all have POLITICAL-ATTACHMENT to him.
That is he would always mix Technocracy with politics.
Atiku would loot very highly from what he didn't create from and from all he decided to do from all that is available.

3. OBI
Obi is the least confident of the 3 candidates.
He is the most Timid. Things would work slower under Obi than Tinubu, however they would be achieved.
We know why he is Timid, he has the least access to external paraphernalia and funds to cover up errors/wastages unlike Tinubu.
For every 1 area of the economy Obi would touch, Tinubu would touch 10. However, quantity doesn't win the race.
Obi is the Least connected of the 3candidates. Even in his own state, he is not connected to the Big Guns enough to cajole them to part with their funds or make commitments.

Obi would loot the very least of these 3 candidates By this, he may not necessarily loot, but his Government would loot the least due to his set examples.
If he isn't looting, his wife&children are not looting, his workers and appointees would be more controlled & decipline.
Under Obi, Lagos would diluted and other states would be opened.
Obi would not sell state assets cos he feels they can do better under a more condusive/deceplined environment. Obi, would invest government money in International&Local brands.
Obi's Appointees would be the least happy amongst the 3candidates as they are not getting the freehand we as Nigerians are accustomed to whenever we have access to Government purse.
Obi is next in creativity to Tinubu.
However he would create adequately.

CONCLUSION
With all these above and much more, I would personally vote for Obi.
I have weighed all PROS and CONS.
Obviously I am not God and I cannot be 100% right.

You don't need to tell me or anyone that I would personally vote for Obi.
Cos Obi is what we most need at the very moment.
Thank You!

Nice one, but Tinubu is not connected anything, he's connected to crooks and looters like him who will finish Nigeria patapata.

Obi is the only option. There's nothing anyone can tell me

Let's don't kid ourselves even as obidient as we are. Tinubu has the strongest relationship with the most powerful business men/brands in the country.

And already made relationship plays a roll when dealing with companies/brands.
Also have in mind that Tinubu would always set aside a higher personal profit margin for He/she that meets him on the negotiation-Table.
This is bad, but it gets the job done.

The trash written by the OP is a good example of fake and sponsored analysis. It targeted Atiku Abubakar but it will fail.

You don't need any connections to bring investors as a president. Investors will come willingly if you do your basic responsibilities in security, fighting corruption and make rule of law.
Investors are more likely to come if Obi wins than Tinubu knowing fully well that their investments are more likely to be protected under Peter obi than under an imperialist emilokan president. Investors will trust Obi more.

It's not the job of the president to woo investors or negotiate with them, his job is to attract them by sending the right messages. The bee and honey analogy

You are 100% right with all you said. I know all these things you said b4 I came up with my post.

But I am talking about "hitting the ground running".

FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY OF INAUGURATION.

Obi's people would finally come to the table, but not as quickly as enthusiastically as Tinubu.

TINUBU has planned for this since at least 20years ago.

Obi probably started planning for this the very day PDP oppressed him with money on the eve of their primaries and Labour ran to give him shelter.

Tinubu has told these bigwigs since 20years ago "when I become president we would do this and do that together".

he has the relationships all covered up to hit the ground running from day one with those he already knows before US and UK Start sending their envoys over to him.

He has ran things with the bigwigs already using LAGOS that all believe LAGOS is as Big as Nigeria.

We can only hope he fails. Cos finally himself and his people would look out for themselves more than they would lookout for me, you and the entire country.

There is absolutely no reason anyone can compare Tinubu to obi

TINUBU

The STRONG MAN.

Great administrator, by virtue of your antecedent, non of the other candidates came closer, the gap is very wide. He laid the blueprint of the greater Lagos, if all the bad things happening in Lagos is attributed to him, only fair you add the good things.

He is strong, has money and a master STRATEGIST. He has so many boys and men and has alliances across the length and breath of the country and beyond.

He masterminded the ousting of a sitting president, unheard of in Nigeria and very rare in African politics(at least give him credit)

Cons
He damn old. Close to 89 or something

ATIKU

I like this man, he appears to looks detribalized, he’s always in the run for the Top Job. Very experienced and also has money. However, is emergence as the party flag bearer of PDP has been chaotic to say the least, I’m very sure internal wrangling of his party will culminate in his losing again and I honestly have no sympathy for the wazirin adamawa. I like wike, and I feel he was cheated, plus the balance of power really needs to move to the other side for equity.

Nothing much to add.

OBI-

The messiah,

Initially I supported him like any other reasonable person who is damn tired of the establishment. Not really anything significant about him, 2x former governor, and almost that’s all. He don’t have tons of money like the other guys, have no structure, nor any national experience, everything has been based on his governance of Anambra state in the past. His supporters don’t have anything to sell him except for “he saved money” and invested state money in a beer company, where the current governor of Anambra has come to blow the yansh of the hen open by claiming the so called investment is close to nothingness.

Notable individuals from his region have come out to absolutely reject him, notably the current governor of Anambra, the former CBN governor casting aspersion on his candidacy and Arthur Nzeribe asking him to pull out outrightly, however he enjoys enormous support from the young people on social media who don’t have PVC nor looks likely to vote for him and also some of his ethnic people.

Cons- Only Igbos are sure to vote for him, as ethnicity is low key the singular reason he is supported

-Kwankwaso

Just in the race I guess. Not expected to win, but would probably give Peter Obi a fight for the 3rd/4th position.

Sorry I missed a very delicate factor in my writeup.

Tinubu is not mentally and physically fit for the job and I don't see him lasting the duration of 4years. Yes, he had no known running business prior to politics.

But overseeing Lagos for past 20somethng years has enhanced his social-business clout.

Also for being in the corridors of national power should be added to that.

We all know how nigera works when it comes to PR.

Upon all these I say here, I still want him to loose woefully. Cos he is no where near Obi in Totally.

Personal-Opinions, though.

Kudos, infact your post should have been the original post of my own thread. grin

I give honour when due.

But let correct you on something,
The whole gist of obi saved money for nothing is false.

There was a concrete long-term plan for the money he saved.

That money was to serve as an equity for Anambra state to attract some direct foreign investments into the state.

Just that obiano reneged on those plans he had saved the money for.

This isn't a rumor. Go and verify.

The difference is clear amongst the 4 top candidates. Obi, Atiku and Kwankwanso stand for nothing and so they fall for anything. That’s why they jump from one party to the other. In contrast, Asiwaju’s character has been tested and can be trusted. He never decamped to any other party. He stood his ground against all opposition and built a formidable party along with other progressives. This is something Obi could not do when he jumped ship from APGA to PDP thereby destroying Ojukwu’s legacy.

Let’s compare what Obi, Atiku and Tinubu did with local governments, which is the closest to the people. While Tinubu created more local council development authorities to bring governance closer to the people, Obi refused to conduct local government elections and withheld local government allocations for 8 years, while Atiku supported Obasanjo in denying Lagos State her local government allocation.

Changing of party is not a yardstick for Leadership integrity. Somepeople actually abandone parties without ulterior motives.

Also Tinubu is worse in this regard, Tinubu betrayed AD, stole the spine of AD and went to form ACN. Till date, most leaders of Afenifere haven't forgiven him.
How does obi's decamping destroy Ojukwu's Legacy?

Ojukwu or Apga never handed APGA to Obi.
Also, he left apga after his go governorsgip tenure was completely over.

One of the likes credited to you is mine!!!

I agree with all your points here besides number 2.

It's not even possible for Any other Givenror to have done as much/well as Tinubu during his tenure.

Not even Peter obi came close.

But if you compare based on *in congnizance to their accessibility to funds and State-potentials* I give the winner here to PETER OBI.
With even less, peter obi did alot.

Also Tinubu's criminal connection can be a plus side to what he brings to the table.
Nit that I would prefer him.

But it's also a plus that he has a wide range of connections to both the good and bad as long as they can reach standard requirements.

You are not completely correct here.
The increase in local government councils was to increase allocations from federal government.
Obi did conduct local government elections at some point during his tenure.
This has been verified.
