Marriage is not for everyone, dont succumbed to societal pressures and the urge to feel among and land yourself into a lifetime of pain and headaches. We the Married ones are going through a lot only a few can withstand.


If you really need to get married, dont marry for love or for anything vanity like wealth, they are never sustainable or substantial enough to keep one in marriage, marry someone you can lay down your life for literarily and every other thing becomes secondary.

These days, when I attend either traditional or weddings and see how happy the couple's are especially the ladies,they will be laughing and dancing and be telling you that today is their day, I go just laugh within me because they don't really know what they are getting themselves into. After the whole noise, when they get home, their eyes go clear by force. And if the couple's don't work together in harmony and understanding, the marriage will die a natural death. Individual differences, financial strain and stress just to keep up with the new responsibilities will eventually take a toll in the marriage and eventually, marriage go pack up. Marriage in Nigeria now no be moimoi oh. Thanks to our government.
My advice to the single ladies and single men out there is, if you are not ready to be constantly working on your marriage,dont bother marrying because you are going to come out of that marriage sooner or later

This is not to say it's an entirely bad idea especially if you are an unmarried lady over 30 or over 40 years, and no man is within range.

My major point is: If you don't love yourself, you can't love somebody else, and

NO love in him or her. Period.

I agree 100% with you that there's a lot of greed and transactional relationships/marriages going on.
