Anybody from the South? Abeg which Southern politicians has more authority, influence, support and ability than Tinubu? Very obvious you're biased.

I come from the South. Tinubu has no influence here and every place around here. Some Northerners will beat Tinubu hands down in a free contest here.

Atiku is a bully. He thinks the entire north will support him. He thinks he can win the presidential election by getting block votes only from the north. He's mistaken. He stole the South's mandate by forcing his way in the primaries and neglecting constitution. No one should take him serious.

Tinubu is our president come 2023.

He is busy "blasting" and carrying Tinubu's mater on his head while Wike is holding him by his 'blokos' undecided

FYI, Tinubu is not concerned about religious beliefs. He's decision was political. I'm sure you know this. Nigeria is not a Muslim and a Christian country. There are so many other religions present. Know this and know peace. Make politicians no twist your brain.
Let him pick a running mate from other religions outside his nah.
It's very religious joor.

Tinubu is our president come 2023.
Following your logic about Atiku stealing the souths mandate and neglecting the constitution. Don't you think also when it comes to the south, Tinubu is also stealing the Eastern mandate considering the SW has done 8 years of Obj, supported by the SE?
Nb, i personally have no opinion, but following your pattern of thoughts.

Atiku is the lesser of two evils even though his paternity is also a subject for research

God help us

Atiku's paternity? You don't know what you are saying.

Do you know where the father of Yusuf Datti (P.O vice presidential candidate) came from? His father is not a Nigerian at all. But none of you is mentioning that but chooses to tackle a man who has no doubtful genealogy and his citizenry.

Though, I don't support any candidate at the moment but you don't really know anything about Atiku if you are serious with what you have posted here.

Atiku's grandfather migrated to Adamawa from Sokoto state. Is Sokoto state not part of Nigeria?

Many of you have been calling him a Cameroonian base on Kanu's comment.

His mother was from Jigawa state. Is Jigawa state not part of Nigeria?

Let's try to always verify what we hear or see on social media pls!

Man, Atiku's paternity is suspect. Some pple say he's not Fulani sef. I don't know about that. OBJ confirmed what I'm saying even though he can be guilty of same.
This explanation you dropped was given by Yankasai. We'll all know that Jada was part of Cameroon before the referendum in the 60s.

We're not running a parliamentary system so his presence is not that needed

Opposition in politics, even if ideologically alone, is always needed. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Atiku has to accept his duty to puplicly check possible misrule of the APC or their abuse of power.

If activists like Adeyanju and Yesufu can do this as non-politiians, what is the excuse of Atiku who is formally obligated to sensitize Nigerians per how to rise against misrule?

It is a role he should embrace naturally if he is a good leader who wants to lead by example and deepen the democratic efficiency of Nigeria. Instead he chooses to abandon Nigerians and his responsibility by living in Dubai while you are here supporting him.

Sorry to say but some of you have no shame. Atiku should not be an option for any sensible Nigerian.

Any southerner supporting Atiku is a fool. This is because North and South differ in orientation and thinking.

The North is protectionist, illiberal and gradualist in thinking. The regions leader believe in bloated governance and care of the populace with government jobs, official largesse of leadership position and political patronage.

I can show research articles that identify the problem of Northern Nigeria to be directly linked to poor entrepreneurial zeal that universally provides employment and reduces poverty.

Detrimentally, Northern leader never prioritise development of human resources through education and skill acquisition. They are the worst, of all Nigerians, at teaching a man to fish.

The North is also unable to detach religion, and strict adherence to its tenets, outdated today, from public life. For example, it should be obvious an adult should have the choice to drink alcohol or not.

Focus should be on raising awareness of the abuse of alcohol rather than its prohibition because some things that were easy to implement in 1855 are impossible to enforce in 2022.

You're destroying alcohol in the North yet hypocritically accepting VAT from it's sale to sustain your unfeasibly large population bloated by religious approval for an illiterate, unemployed and unskilled man to have many wives and 20 children.

Smart and flexible folks should adopt pragmatic and productive outlook so that solutions are delivered for society. We must not endure with practices clearly discredited and bad for us because such are sanctioned by religion.

Over-religiousity, the North insist on hosting, has proven to be directly related to the failure of some of the worst nations in the world like Afghanistan, Somalia etal.

The South, in contrast, is much better because leaderships there is open to empowering SMEs, capitalist drive, education, liberalisation and diversification of economies, decentralisation of processes and institutions etal.

Religion is less of an issue for Southerners and we saw this clearly under the lengthiest Southern leadership of Nigeria so far since 1999. That of OBJ.

Overall, the North has had 8 years of influencing Nigeria's thinking and direction through the inflexible Buhari who is disinterested in running an inclusive government facilitating Southern thinking and liberalism.

Southerners, for the sake of equity, should therefore not sign up for another 8 years of what , for sure, will be the inflexible North's way of doing things.

We will be commiting suicide doing that. The South must be given the chance to direct the thinking and policies of Nigeria for the next 8 years.

I cannot back Obi because I believe he is a coward and political loner who can never hit the ground running for Nigeria but I will support him, as automatic default, to be President above a Northerner if Tinubu cannot be president.

I hate his IPOB support but I simply cannot accept another Northernr as Nigeria's President, after 8 years of Buhari, for the sake of my children and generations unborn.

Nigeria needs modernism, greater secularism, liberal governance, greater autonomy of institutions and tiers of governance. We deserve State/regional policing.

Decisiveness sincere end to open grazing of livestock, deliberate policies to curb proliferation of guns availability, brave birth control and family planning drive.

Prioritised investment in all our children. Compulsory quality education for every Nigerian child. Creation of agencies to take into care any child begging on the street of Nigeria and out of school. Greater reward for the very important professions like teaching, policing, healthcare Etc.

The revision of the commercialisation of politics and the drastic reduction of bloated governance.

She needs a decentralised democracy. Abolishment of civil service sustenance of her populace and more deliberately assisted reliance on SMEs , the lifeblood of the best economies in the world, as employers and enablers of Nigerians.

I am convinced Northern leadership of Nigeria cannot invest in these progressive ideas. I say this as a former passionate supporter of Buhari. PMB has convinced me that it is completely impossible for Nigeria to move into a modern, progressive and aggressively developmental age under a Northerner.

Most importantly, the North has had 8 years in charge. The South supported the region to gain that. For the sake of equity, and to prevent totally fracturing Nigeria's very fragile unity, the South must produce the next President of our nation.

If Atiku wins, and if Southerners are not self-destructively stupid, then we must all join effort to insist regional governance be made formal the day after Atiku is sworn in as President.

People like you are the problem. Bigoted and idiotic. Must you pitch Obi's Presidential effort as one that must be sold via attacking, demonizing and insulting Tinubu?

Overall, how can anyone who is honest and decent deny that Tinubu has been one of the bright lights, if not the brightest, of our post-1999 democracy?

I can casually reel off 30 spectacular achievements of Tinubu leaders from different African countries come to understudy till today.

Can you name one single achievement of Atiku? Yet it is Tinubu you dumb and bigoted southerners must attack.

It is a measure of your bigotry and lack of intellect that you think Obi's win must be predicated on attacking Asiwaju.

Not only will Obi lose but he will lose with long term consequences for how Yorubas relate with others, especially Igbos, on their own turf based on the antics of people like you. Mark that down.

Not proven or accurate. The UK is deeply troubled today. Nothing wrong with our system of governance if practised with sincerity and with a focus on doing what is best for the nation and her populace.

We host a system of governance identical to that of the USA. Yet American States have their own police force, constitution and autonomous latitude over socio-economic policies that takes account of their unique composition.

We are denied that by whoever manages to hijack the centre
.

Nigerian leaders decided to copy the US governance template but deliberately reject all the components that has mad it the greatest democracy on Earth because private and sectional gain is what we are about in Nigeria.

That is the problem. It has nothing to do with system of governance but I would not expect a Biafran to understand this because your default position is that of hate for others and finding things to attack them with based on how you view them as the beginning and end of all your problems and woes in life.
