Spy360:Boss, there is no red marker biko. That is thick yellow marker which just means average touches concentration(He doesn't even have dark brown sef which is the closest to the highest concentration(red marker)). It's surprising your Nketiah doesn't have red marker in the box yet you used him to brag while G Jesus whom you claim doesn't have touches in the box have red marker full everywhere. This is G.Jesus heat map while the 2nd is Nketiah heatmap again(for Europa since that's where he completes 90min for fair comparison). Nketiah heatmap even show he spends more time in the midfield and left wings with more ball touches compared to the opposition box yet na Gabriel Jesus Una dey crucify ![]() Between the two we can see who spends more time in the box more NB: I'm still waiting for your other pl strikers' heatmap. Let's compare their heatmap in the opposition box to that of Gabriel Jesus

but on a serious note, we no get alternative for that right wing. my everyday prayer for arsenal na God abeg no let saka get injury, abi na viera go de play 7 for us. i wanted to complain about letting pepe go when we have none other to cover for him, but when ever i watch or read about him play for nice, i kuku close my mouth. |

germaphobe:The way wey I dey pray everyday make Partey, Saka and Martinelli no go injury ehh. Those 3 have no viable substitutes for now. ESR is hoping to come January (or late December) while no standard substitute for both Saka and Partey. I just dey pray make injury no look our side this season esp to those 3 |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 6:18pm On Oct 26, 2022 |
Jodera:You've not understood the point. He does get into the box but only after when he has exerted himself in the build up. By doing so he usually does not maintain enough composure to score with the right mix of precision and power. But if he can reduce his involvement in he build up, allow others to create for him, then he can muster enough time and composure to pick his goal. |

Jodera:If you can't see the faint color difference then I can't help. At this point it is subjective. What's funny is that you have not even explained why GJ has not been clinical which is what I have been trying to do and most people here agree to it. But fact is if Jesus does not change, he will suffer plenty goal drought. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 6:39pm On Oct 26, 2022 |
Spy360:So you've agreed he now gets into the box after unfairly criticizing him that he doesn't get into the "Fvcking box" shey? All these things you're saying, was it not what I was saying since ystdy that he just needs to be clinical since he sees the chance but you just dey para say Xhaka, Martinelli and Saka dey take him spot and his shine in the 18yard box. You even bring Nketiah join sef. Thank goodness for heatmap. I still dey wait for the other strikers aside Haaland wey most of their opposition touches are in the 18yard box compared to G Jesus. I just hope you provide them for me |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 6:43pm On Oct 26, 2022 |
Spy360:Nothing is subjective here. Anyone who compares those two heatmaps knows that Jesus is more active in the box than Nketiah has been but you must still turn Amala. One thing I noticed about this G Jesus issue is that when he was doing all those his workrate this season and everyone was happy, I knew once a bad patch comes you guys will immediately start equating him to Laca (already preconceived notion) such as: he doesn't stay in the box, he's never getting at the end of chances as a striker, he's just working for only Martinelli and Saka etc, reason why I wanted to debunk it as soon as possible. You guys don't want to even reason that he might be going through a purple patch— something which is normal for strikers— and once he gets his clinicality right, he'll come good just the way he was beginning of this season and preseason. I knew it'll come to this but I never knew it'll be so soon |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 7:50pm On Oct 26, 2022 |
Jodera:Lol. It's easy to twist things when you can type English. There's a difference between getting into the box and staying in the box. Whenever you can differentiate this then the convo will make sense. My point has always been he staying in the box. Off course if he has been scoring despite spending time away from the target point, no one will complain. But he is not scoring and we have found out why. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 7:53pm On Oct 26, 2022 |
Jodera:What your eyes can see is subjective. Tell us why GJ suddenly became unclinical despite maintaining his workrate and performance levels. |

Spy360:I won't answer this question unless you answer mine that I've first asked you since ystdy. I've been answering your questions even when you've been skipping mine since ystdy and today 1... Is Jesus goal drought due to not seeing big chances like Lacazette in the box or due to being clinical 2... Show me the EPL strikers heatmap let's compare to Jesus (hint: use the speed of light as 9.812 in which you brought Halaand and Jesus heatmap ) |

Arteta should not use excuse if winning the group to field our regular starter again Even if we lose to PSV and we beat Zurich we will still win the group, he should stop this unnecessary pressure jare |

Jodera:Ok no problem. apart from the speed of light thing. 1. It is due to not being clinical. He is seeing big chances but he is not having the composure (if this word is the problem check it out) or right frame of mind to finish those chances. He's usually involved in the build up and by the time he arrives in the box, he is either not in a preferred position or have exerted himself so much as to lack the right mix of power and accuracy. Some strikers deliberately avoid build up. They just want to be in the right frame to be able to finish off chances. GJ should know that scoring is his primary duty and not chance creation. So he must not always be part of the build up. He should spend more time positioning himself either to receive a final pass or to make a splitting run. Most times he is found in the build up and while it has benefitted others it has become detrimental to him. So he is seeing opportunity but he is not taking them and that's because he drops deep all the time which makes him to lose composure. 2. Lol at the bolded.Mention a striker (a) in the frame of GJ - that drops deep and (b) is scoring goals unlike GJ. Make your choice from any point in history when we can draw stats. For the benefit of doubt I have dropped that of Kane (he does drop deep but knows when to sprint to the box. Note that he hardly touches the ball around the area near the box.) and Mitrovic. The second and third highest scorers this season in PL. The last one is that of GJ. You will see that GJ gets too involved. All are obtained from PL stats as posted by Sofascore.com
