If you can use Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and English, you dare not speak against using Arabic.

In as much English is the Lingua Franca of the country yet we still have various local languages such as yoruba, Igbo, hausa, Benin, Ijaws, just to name a few. And in campaign periods some billboards are written in such languages to pass the same message written in English at some strategic locations. As long as the people understands what was written then no problem. Even APC and PDP used these languages in the last elections.

That's not Arabic per say.

Hausa is written in 2 different scripts, the Roman script (Boko) & the Arabic script (Ajami).

So that is not Arabic but rather Hausa... All the elderly people in the region will be able to read and understand that, but may not understand campaign posters written in the English language.

yes, you are right. even though i am not a supporter of obi but, it is simply Hausa Ajami. it is what the North use before English alphabets. IT IS SIMPLY HAUSA LANGUAGE WRITTEN WITH ARABIC ALPHABETS. THERE IS NOTHING RELIGIOUS ABOUT IT, JUST LIKE THE WORDS WE SEE IN OUR NAIRA NOTES.

The first one is Arabic language & the second one is Hausa(AJAMI) Language.
