What exactly was the whole point or benefit of locking up the borders??!... Boost local production, reduce prices, bla bla... Look at your "cheaper" locally produced rice now more expensive than foreign rice! Seems APC actually specializes in enriching just the few while making majority suffer and pay for it! |

When you allow the wrong hand to take over governance in the country, this is what you get. Even nature will be against you. Buhari wants to ensure he finishes Nigeria and Nigerians completely before he vacates seat. |

AreaGovo:He is doing very well... He is ensuring that APC never returns to power! I still await to see what Tinubu campaigns with! All that "Renewed Hope" mantra is so dull and beyond idiotic! It's actually insulting to the average Nigerians. |

Not just okay Anyway, there will still be circulation of cash next year by the politicians because of the general election so even if the flood causes greater lack of food production and greater cost of food, people will still buy with the cash available. That's why the electorates should cashout from any political party, or any politician avaliable next year but after that,Vote wisely, to avoid very disasterous insecurity, bad/harsh economy and total collapse of the entire Nigeria system.. Vote Labour Party. Peter Obi|Datti-Baba Ahmed is far better. |

Is the price going to come down? Things hardly return to the old price or a lower price in this country. |

SouthSouth1914:Man must chop bro lol, the force of demand is a powerful one especially in a country where people just buy because other items are increasing in price In the time of diesel, it started as a rumour that it might hike to 1k, and price started following that path |

Muhylonaire007:Exchange rate will hit N800/$1 in November. How much do you want to buy a bag if the government opens our borders? I think it is too late to expect a sudden drop in food prices. The best thing is to buy a bag and other related item in bulk. Politicians love poverty so they are not going to do anything about this menace. How else can they buy people's votes if rice becomes cheap? |
