This is massive. Then something terrible must be brewing. May it lead to nigeria's break-up.

I am just looking at this from another perspective. What if America is interested in Nigeria oil/something related and decided to start from where they stopped in Afghanistan?

Then this might be what's going to happen. The US might be the one sponsoring this terrorist attack, I think there are informations that some U.S. military are already in Nigeria for special assignment.
Either the terrorists strikes or not, one or two of those special forces will be used as sacrificial lamb with this the US Army will come in full force, thereby creating military base.
