My gear has been acting up recently, unable to climb a hill unless I ref down. Some people suggested I should repair it but I dont know if it will last. So I want to know how much is the automatic transmission gear.

It can be repaired ..sometimes changing the oil filters and washing the brain of the gear box works..it hardly works

You can't find a new one soooo Belgium is like 200k .in Lagos ..could be cheaper in Abuja

Now, it is worse, it do take time to change from gear 1 to 2

I think you bought a bad gear box ..replace it .don't allow anybody open it o angry

..
Bmw gear box don't usually like being repaired at all

Have actually tried taking it for a scan, Do a full system scan, before you make an expensive mistake

Yes ..
I've read your post on that gear box you repaired .

From my own experience all BMWs with persistent gear box issues ,we just recommend changing it .

A costomer attempted repairing his own after spend 70 k at diffrent gear box repair shop he is finally buying a new one .
