EXCLUSIVE: Ifeanyi’s nanny, eight others arrested over his death

At least nine persons, including Ifeanyi’s nanny and cook, have been arrested by the police in Lagos State in connection with his death.

Recall that Ifeanyi, the three years old son of singer Davido, drowned on Monday, October 31, 2022, inside the family’s swimming pool in Banana Island, Lagos.

It was gathered that both Davido and chef Chioma were on a trip, when the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to a source, “About nine people have been arrested for negligence, including his nanny and their cook. Chioma is broken. David is in tears.

They are both at his dad’s house in Lekki and nobody from 30BG is allowed there. His 30th birthday plans have been put on hold.

The real story is crazy. How the kid opened a huge thick door and got outside, nobody knows. The arrested people are criminally negligent.”

So sad. Chioma got carried away and lost all sense of Motherly care and attention for her child since she reunited with Davido.

Arrest David and chroma too I don't care if they weren't at home. That child is their responsibility.
They are the first persons to answer for it in front of God. Not the nannies not the sophisticated touts he calls gangs.

Being in the bottom of the pool for a long time means that the boys lungs is filled with water. The first thing to do after his recovery is to remove the water in his lungs with CPR and restore his breathing. The longer the boy stays without breathing, the more likely he will die. So instead of rushing him to a hospital, they should have first given him first aid (CPR).
