He was no party to ipob. He was only trying to mediate between ipob and fg. His hometown, ukpor, has been at the recieving end of the ugm violent attacks. Its only a pity that The ipob hierarchs refused to cash in on the goodwill of people like the late elderstatesman, hence they're where they are today.
