The first coup was done by a handful of majors cutting across various ethnic groups and was targeted at top government officials and soldiers, the second coup was not really a coup but a fractional rebellion by northern soldiers against igbos. It can't be classified a coup. This was an attempted genocide that has reduced the military to nothingness and a collection of jokers
