We already know the reality on ground in Anambra, it will be dangerous to set the citizens on a collision course with UGM. Jagaban has the protections to visit any part of the country, the common man in Anambra who may want to see Jagaban doesn't.

BAT cannot wash himself away from Buhari, it's not possible. Trying to do that will make him lose him even more voters. As long as they belong to the same party, its ride and sink together.

BAT do not agree with all of Buhari policies. Infact during the time when they wanted to increase VAT, Tinubu disagreed publicly in his colloquium with Buhari and Osibanjo in attendance. He has even proposed policy that didn't see the light of the day. Infact from Buhari second tenure, Tinubu has stopped commenting on Buhari policies that a lot of people assumed that they were fighting codedly.

Whenever BAT has talked about continuing Buhari legacy, it has always been about Buhari infrastructural drive. Whether we want to admit it or not, Buhari has massively invested in infrastructure like no President before him since 1999.

Ultimately, the failures and success of Buhari administration will be used to campaign against/for Tinubu. He himself knows he cant run away from it. He can only campaign based on what he will do differently and hope the masses vote for him.

On Buhari infrastructural drive, one thing I'm happy about is that its through Govt to Govt funding, tax credits and Govt bonds. His infrastructural loan are tied directly to the projects.
