Nothing Personal Auba! London will always be red! G. Jesus has 62 touches and was everywhere playing for the team, but one agbaya with just about 4/5 touches in 60mins thinks he has a point to proof. I think that pest from the blue thread that always flaunt our Rejects they took over will be too ashamed to disturb this thread for a while...that is if he has a sense of shame tho. |

saliba was a beast, partey was a monster among men, xhaka!!(oh my xhaka)the lion of the jungle, big ups to zinchenko(you sure say i get the spelling), ben white!!! the unsung hero of our defense, odegard no too give of joy(personal opinion), martinelli and saka(awwn!!!) be like mustard seed, underestimate them and regret your life, overestimate them and still collect from inadequate planning. jesu gabi.....(in loss of words). ps=big s/o to auba for leaving and making it possible for us to go full blast in getting jesus. and another thanks for making sure chelsee played with one man less(his 8 touches is a testament to how much he choose to be useless yesterday). i no go rate ramsdale cus it will be a big insult to the chelsee players who didn't think it wise to test him during the match. |

My Thoughts On The Game(both Nottingham and Chelsea) 1... I feel this our defence is even appreciated enough. It's very very rare to see a defensive back 5(Partey making the back 5 and not Ramsdale pls). It's a back 5 where each individual is highly technical, supremely strong and physical and at the same time highly composed. It's difficult penetrate or match up each players whether in ground duels or aerially. The way Gabriel and Saliba bullied Awoniyi last week, then completed the bullying on both Auba, Havertz and broja ystdy was awesome. Ben White is criminally underrated both attack wise and defensively. In fact, defensively, nothing gets past him. If you think Ben White is that good, then we've not even talked about Saliba. He's easily one of the best defenders now in England. Nothing gets past him either land, water or air . Then we've Gabriel who's always been outstanding. It's good thing that's he has cut out his rashness in his game and even though he made mistake last week that it wasn't really punished but his overall game have been excellent. Zinchenko showed rustiness ystdy but it's easy to see his quality Ystdy while I'm beginning to see the reason for Tomi experiment even though I'm not convinced yet.Who noticed how easy it is for our defenders to pass out from the back and beat opposition press. Their positioning, confidence, composure and technicality is something that's only rivalled by very few in the league (and that's just me being modest here )There's a reason I said I was very okay with our defence even when statistics was saying we've not kept a clean sheet at home. I knew that it wasn't because of the defence was bad but it was just mostly Gabriel's schoolboy error and if he cuts it out, we'll keep cleansheets. And now that he's cutting it out of his game, we're now seeing cleansheets 2... I've always been saying it that we've one of the best Midfield trio in EPL and week in week out, they've been proving so. Xhaka and Partey are two Midfield dynamos that can uplift any team. How Xhaka combines his late attacking runs into the opposition box, still helps in maintaining possession and Midfield control as well as helping out defensively is really out of this world. Week in week out he's proving to be press resistant with quick one touch pass and move. When Xhaka was bought, this was exactly how he was advertised as, thank goodness he's living up to the billing. Partey adding goals to his monstrous world class performance means he's now the perfect DM one can finally ask for. The way he just wins all balls and 2nd balls with ease as well as quickly pushing attacks helps us in transitioning attack rapidly. Odegaard needs to add accuracy and power to his game. Great goal last week but great miss this week. Other than that, I love the way he has understanding with our attackers. Those three helps dominate teams (as well as the defence), and aside Southampton and Leeds in which we dropped intensity in the 2nd half, I've not seen any match in which we've not played at maximum level 3... One thing I love about the attack is the positional and rotational fluidity. It's one thing why I'd love Jesus not to change his ways when drifting out of the cf position to the wings or drift from the wings to CF position or drift deep in carrying the ball. Cos such movement confuses defenders and drag them out of position for to Martinelli or Xhaka late runs to exploit. And when he finally turns to occupy the zone, most times he's usually left free which is why most times he gets to see the team's big chances. I believe his goals will come as he seemed unlucky ystdy and with the way he's always seeing chances per game, sooner or later he'll break his duck. I would have been more worried if he's not seeing chances at all. Like I always say, I prefer my front 5 to give me 14 goals each than for we to have a striker that will score 30 goals while our wingers scores 8-10 goals and our two attacking midfielder scores 2-5 goals combined. I don't like such disparity at all. Such rotation, fluidity and interplay is what is making our attack unpredictable and the good part is that we aren't even clinical yet 4... Kudos to Arteta big time. Not only have we broken the mental block of playing big teams but the way he's always setting up the team have been excellent. You could see the effect of training ground moves as each player knows the zone they'll occupy or run into without clashing and each player know what do the at the particular time. Notice how our fullbacks know when to overlap or underlap or when to tuck into Midfield to give us territorial advantage. It's never coincidence and it's the effect of good coaching. Also kudos to him for his subs. They've been mostly timely in perfect this season, especially in holding out a win. I've always had faith in Arteta and believed in him and even though my faith quivered two seasons ago, I'm finally happy that he's finally able to get it right and move arsenal the way he wants it to be. Being in first position while playing beautiful football since August down to November in a league containing Pep guardiola Man city that have Haaland as striker is no mean feat. I don't know whether we'll maintain it till May but one thing is certain, this team is one of the best in the league. Top of the league Brighton next in Carabao then Wolves next COYG!! 1st pix : Our darling team 2nd pix : What did they say about arsenal ontop of the tree again? ![]() 3rd pix: how I'm laughing at rival fans who said we'll be struggling for top 4 at the end of Oct and beginning of November especially when we start playing all the big teams. Ironically, ALL OF THEM ARE STRUGGLING FOR TOP 4 AS NONE OF THEM IS IN TOP 4 ![]()

sod09:Tielemans can wait till summer, I’m talking January in order to strengthen in case fatigue, loss of form or the dreaded injury creeps in. Newcastle plans on strengthening in January at least to seal top four and go to UCL for the first time in years, we can do same cos that vampire Guadiola na weyrey. |
