2023: It’s Not Late For Igbo To Reflect On Reality Of Tinubu Presidency –Nnamani by lhordspy(op):
The former Enugu Gov, Chimaroke Nnanmani Predicts Woeful Fall of Igbo if They Fail to Accept ‘Reality of Tinubu’s Presidency.

* He categorically states that “the two political parties(LP and PDP) with emotional capture of igbo people will lose the presidential election.

* Noting that the Yorubas are not the igbos problem.

The former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani has said that it is not late for the Igbo to reflect on and carefully X-Ray the looming reality of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Nnamani asked Igbos several questions bothering on their relationship with the Yoruba, noting that the Yorubas are not their problem.

In his piece titled, “the Igbo Insularity and its Yoruba Wahala,” Nnamani asked, “how did the Igbo get to this? Who sold this massive Con job? Who are the snake oil salesmen? Why the perceived mistrust of the Yoruba? We never fought? Our properties never seized? Are our businesses thriving in their Homelands? Blossoming intermarriages with multiple offspring? Common language etymology"

He further said: “They stayed out of Nigeria/Biafra war until the Benin expedition. Fajuyi died for Ironsi’s sake. Bola Tinubu gave his financial lifeline to Igbo Ben Akabueze. President Obasanjo had highly dependent Igbo mentees including myself. Called me son and seriously shared confidentialities with me. That I will carry with me to the Lord’s vineyard.

“Our properties were returned immediately in the second quarter of 1970 with collected rent and interests. The ‘ontogeny’ of our revered kola nut Yoruba. My brothers where is the disconnect? Okpara and our Forebears saw it. The NCNC/ NPC alliance was a colossal failure for South East. Ditto NPN/NPP. History repeats.

“AG/NCNC alliance 1956/57? Was aborted. Could have provided a Chief executive to either party. The AG/ NCNC alliance in United Progressive Grand Alliance, Awolowo & Okpara mired in Pre 66 Coup imbroglio. The UPN/NPP alliance could have done the same. The threat of Ekwueme Presidency writer’s claims added Filip to the collapse of the 3rd republic.

“When you shift power to Yoruba, you don’t go to Kwara or Kogi, you go to Southwest. But the weakness of the South East zone is patently obvious such that they throw any bones at us and we bite.

We must always be expected to show gratitude for any pittance. After all, we were spared with “no victor, no vanquished” We should be happy and don’t worry. We can always resort to spare parts and hugging containers. For this ongoing political expedition, my Igbo people have suffered the consequences of Sociopolitical Insularity. Confused by mediocre and cry, babies. Emergency Politicos. Whose ticket out of the burden of inferiority and underachievement is ethnocentric preachments.”

He categorically stated that “the two political parties with emotional capture of my people will lose the presidential election. One a pure exercise in self-driven political catharsis, the order of a known abuser and denigrator of my people.

“The Igbo are out of the power echelon of an African State they helped found. Product of self-injury and own goal. We need a restart. Based on a paradigm shift. Careful but calculated risk.”

He cautioned that “the Igbo has to retrace the steps of Okpara and Awolowo, The United Progressive Grand Alliance. An Igbo-Yoruba Alliance. It is not late for the Igbo to reflect on and carefully X-Ray the looming reality of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

A marathon politico Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu, a City boy they call him paid his dues over decades, and performed creditably in governance & politics. With an A-Game, decades of hard work, patience, resilience and tenacity. And a lot of swagger and Chutzpah, Tinubu is it. A consummate and well-navigated City boy. A winner always.

“Only saw him complain once, and probably his last. The rest is history. That Alliance, Handshake across the Niger that is, and a resultant Southern Coalition will build a Great Nigerian Partnership with our Northern brothers and sisters cutting across tribes, religions and all differences.

A land where truly all Tongues may differ but the voices will coalesce and resonate in a crescendo of synergy, amity and good conscience. The answer to the Igbo power conundrum maybe".

Very concise and precise. The most plain truth i have seen all my life. This man will be the president of this Great country one day. A nationalism and a visionary man.

But i kept wondering why his peole are so addicted to failure. Always on the losing side, everytime... I just dont understand anymore. It is baffling. Very unfortunate.

They always find a way to always be on the other side of a team cruising to victory. They always find a way to antagonise an ambition clearly and obviously bound to be sucessful.

Politics are not played along emotional lines or past grievances. It is by looking forward to new alliance, friendship, support and most importantly by working to eradicate the tribal sentimentalism among igbo people and marginalisation among Nigerians towards the igbos.

But here. We have the igbos doing same thing all over again. Taking over again as the political Antagonist, foe, opposition, enemy against a political team whose chances of coming out victorious is at 78% against other political group.

Now my question is: Why does the igbos love to lose, always?

Unfortunately, the era of the old generation politicians is fast elapsing. Your boss, Obasanjo has prophetically handed over the seat to him (Obi). They better appreciate the reality.

...better to do the right thing and fail than to do the wrong thing and win all the time. The "winning" APC urchins got the last time is why their lives (like other Nigerians) have remained stagnant if not backward like the exchange rate.

Op this is you right?

So you need Igbo votes for Tinubu to win and yet you're here making a hateful speech against a whole tribe extending it even to the ones yet unborn? The tribe you still want for them to vote your master?

Lemme me see how an Igbo man after seeing this hateful speech will go at the polls just to vote Tinubu!

Tinubu's greatest undoing will be unintelligent tribal bigots like you campaigning for him..

Nnamani is an Igboman, let him go and reflect with his own immediate family and party members. We have no quarells with Yorubas. Maybe Nnamani has, and he should deal with his issues without dragging Igbos into it.

The majority Igbo, and well meaning Nigerians, are sticking out their necks out for Peter Obi. And knowing us, Igbos, very well, even if everyone backs out, we will not. Our nay is our nay, and our aye is our aye.

This 2023 election, we stand by our decision to vote Peter Obi. In the next election cycle, we will look for another good man to support, if that man is PO again, so be it.

EOD.

Yoruba Muslims are originally from Mali and not real Yorubas.

But due to the accommodating nature of the original Yorubas, they invaded yoruba land and start oppressing real Yorubas religiously and politically.
they always blackmail real Yorubas emotionally and otherwise.
they're gradually spreading and if any real yoruba talk he'll be hushed and be called either bastard or omo ale.
they resoundingly rejected Osibanjo and ridiculed him to the highest but expecting real Yorubas to support their criminal Tinubu.
but thank God real Yorubas are waking up from their slumber and putting these invaders into their rightful place.

God bless real Yorubas
thunder scatter Tinubu
thunder scatter Tinubu urchins
hahahahaha

Igbos on twitter were cursing Omojuwa just because of he refuses to align with Peter Obi. The laid different curses on his marriage and his generation.

Your cheap emotional victimization card cant work on me.... You should go back home and teach your people both young and old about good moral upbringing and respect. You people lack one.

You think you can just come online, abuse, insult, curse anyone without retaliation. Yet you cry around whenever someone give you a taste of your medicine. The days of pity are over.

Nigerians are ready to curtail you guys disgusting attacks and attitude this time.

We are ready for you disrespectful children of hate.

If lossing means not voting a failure so be it

If we were to reverse time today buhari won't win 2015 election

Igbos go for the best candidate even if it means he won't win but you can't catch us voting for a politician when their is a clear better candidate

Can the Yoruba people beat their chest and say we are proud of voting buhari?

You're just despicable!
Can you prove they are actually Igbos or just because they are bearing Igbos names?

How many of you guys here are bearing Igbo names on this forum yet are not Igbos?

I've equally seen multiple accounts bearing yoruba names here and are not yorubas, so is it justifiable to conclude they are Igbos just by their names? Is it enough reason for you to propagate a hate speech against a whole tribe? Even extending it to unborn innocent children?

How many accounts you said were Igbos that insulted the guy on twitter that warranted this hate speech from you against a whole tribe? To the extent you've to drag unborn kids into it? I can count only two..
Honestly if Nigeria is a working country you should have been picked up already

Spare me that, Oga. Always trying to justify and cover up the silly attitude of his people. Have you ever blame or rebuke your people before? We all know the aggressive tribe, the intolerant ones. Yet you people act cool with it. We Nigerians wont stand and watch until you create another monsters in the political public spaces jusy like your region is on fire right now.

Like i said, go back and teach your people good moral upbringing so they will not grow up to be an hateful and envious person. Over 200+ comments insulting an innocent omojuwa who was just talking sport not politics. Yet you are blaming it on impersonations.

So over 200 account were created just to impersonate igbos to troll and bully omojuwa? I think you are evil yourself. Not even sure you are human. Cos If you are human, you will surely know how it feels to have people in hundreds bullying and making fun of someone else wife barreness just because he refuses to align with their preffered candidate.

This is democracy for pete sake! . everyone is free to align without whatever or whosoever pleases them without bully.

It is unfortunate this boastful conjecture of yours doesn't apply to your Governors maybe, just maybe the Southeast will be way way better than it is. Charity they say begin at home abi...

If we are to go back to 2015 going by the prevailing circumstance of that time, just like Nigerians want a change now (this depends on who you ask and not necessarily who your or my candidate is), Nigerians will vote Buhari. And hey Buhari is on his second term remember?

Why is he trying to make it an Igbo vs Yoruba thing.
For crying out loud Igbos have been voting for other tribes in Nigeria since 1999.
For the first time an Igbo man is seeing a pathway to the presidency since 1999 you all have been trying to pull him down.
Has any igbo man rule you or your mama since 1999.
You want tinubu to become president so you can beat your chest and brag about yorubas political sophistication and mock the igbos.

It's south east turn to produce the president of this country and not even 10 of your papa can stop peter obi
