Fulani were not in the place that is now called Nigeria in 1500s. Their ancestor came in late 1700s and early 1800s, he declared a jihad on his friendly peaceful hosts, the Hausa. They took over the rule all over the Hausa land and reduced the hapless people to peasant farmers. Today the remaining Hausa peasant farmers are further being uprooted. That is what they intend to do all over Nigeria but God willing, it shall end in premium tears for them.
