Laporte and Pau Torres have been Spain's first choice CB partnership since the last Euros so I don't know how you're praising Eric Garcia for Spain's run in the Euros when he is a certified bench warmer. Also, I understand why Ramos wasn't picked by Enrique since Busquets has been the captain now for over 2 years so calling back Ramos will only cause a bit of leadership fracas.

Ramos should have retired jejely after being freeze out of the team during his recurring injury days but strong head nor gree am (not sorry for him.) But never compare the quality of Marquinhos to any Spanish CB cos no one touches him. Even in his finished state, Ramos is far better than Eric Garcia and Hugo Guillamon. He could have easily being called ahead of both players. Azpillecuta is there as a back-up for Calvajah as a RB so nothing concern am with Ramos's selection.

Yes Ramos should have made the squad for experience ,but not at the expense of Eric Garcia who suffered during the World Cup qualifiers .
