Igbo land can best be described not as a democracy but as one under the tyranny of the Arochukwu death cult who held so much sway across Igbo land owing to their numerous members scattered across the land.

It wasn't in any form a democracy but rather a Hobbesian state of existence under the whimsical tyranny of the roaming Igbo cult gangs .
