I intend buying industrial generating set to power a 5 bedroom duplex with big floor standing AC (3 ton) and 1hp AC in each of the 5 rooms but seem lost with the actual capacity of KVA that can comfortably power the house and the appliances therein .
There is also a big fridge in the kitchen.

Please expert in the house, help me out with the right capacity to go for .

If you are buying the silent bigger Gen, I will recommend a 20KvA but will be very expensive to maintain due to the diesel cost now.
Your other alternatives will be a good 10kva Solar, the initial price will be steep but you will have no maintenance and in the long run it will pay off.
Let's what other people have to say because I am not really an expert either.

Thanks, I have narrowed my choice to either of 17kva Denyo soundproof or 15kva CAT soundproof.

I will go with the CAT and another best one I know is JMG. They have good engine which is FG Wilson.
