It's funny that Atiku, that's been the least personally problematic candidate, seems to be the most unpopular of the three major candidates (at least down South).

- You can't seriously accuse Atiku of being a bigot
- He's hit all campaign milestones first (manifesto, campaign schedule, running mate, and even made his first act as president known)
- He was an active part of the Obasanjo's administration which many still regard as fairly successful
- He hasn't shied away from the public
- He's an excellent communicator. You won't find Atiku committing the same type of gaffes that Peter Obi or Tinubu are guilty of.
- He's running a balanced ticket - Muslim/Christian...North/South
- He seems fairly healthy, in better health than Buhari of 2015 (Buhari of 2015 looked in better health than Tinubu of 2022).
- He's very composed and has a good understanding of governance and most of the issues
- He's influential enough to get things done quickly, and he seems like a good delegator
- And finally, he's no more corrupt than a Tinubu.

For people like you that haven't been convinced by Peter Obi or Tinubu, you guys should probably give a better look to Atiku.

We know Tinubu provides a mutually beneficial tax collection service he created from scratch that swells Lagos pocket and his pocket simultaneously

Atiku wrecked Customs, wrecked any Govt parastatal he touched and is still outspending Tinubu with no major source of income. Which means he hammered bastardly from things he wrecked. Tinubu source of income is known and is a high cash flow business. Atiku had already wrecked Customs so bad that by 1999, he was the main moneybags for PDP

These talks of "PDAPC" and "Obi Classmate" is unnecessary.

Nigerians need to focus on important issues.

✅Can he deliver?
✅Does he have the capacity, willpower, and wherewithal?
✅What kind of Government do we want and how do we achieve it?

Not these "yeyelities"

Any Elrudebtor who believes Tinubu can collect $850k bonus on $20k basic salary, but does not believe Haaland can collect ~£600k bonus on £350k basic needs a serious konk on the head

I did not know Ronaldo works for City payroll, he can only speak about basic salary, of which he is the highest at £500k

If you think an agent will ask every club for £1m per week and settle for £350-£375k, you have another think coming . .

Or you think that Bayern CEO (who has been comfortably paying Lewa £400k pw, and just gave Mane £350k pw) will say Haaland financial demands are "beyond anything we can think about". . . if the demand is just £350k pw as advertised by City, you be real olodo

In summary, Haaland is on the "Deloitte" bonus package

Not quite. He has intels in one, and American university up north. Built from looted funds but now generating income

I believe in results. As Customs service got worse, Intels got bigger, whereas Lagos tax revenue blossomed with Alpha Beta revenue. So I just see Intels as a parasitic element rather than value adding. American uni is a small fry in comparison to the funds needed to operate at his level politically

It might just be me, but I have zero respect for anything that came/comes out of customs, since I was young. I knew them as one of the first agencies to go completely rotten and dysfunctional in Nigeria, and one of the first agencies where their officers lived way beyond their means. We also lost a container of household items and furniture my parents shipped over from UK in mid-80s. My siblings and I often discussed the legendary container with fantasies of what oyinbo goodies might be contained therein

My argument was that the DOJ felt it was plausible - not that I believe it or not.

Nobody is joining you on any Haaland debate when Mike -does-not-know-squat-about-Manchester-City Keegan is being quoted. Was Guardiola not supposed to retire in 2020 for Pochettino according to that same journalist? Hahaha.

Totally makes sense. Pay Erling £45M per year extra when he is not up to Kevin Debruyne's left leg.

Yeah Atiku's got Intels( which I think he already sold major shares to Ur principal), he's got AUN( which I doubt makes so much money like that cos the school pays Americans in dollars? Make sure students get the premium American education money can buy in Naija), he's got TV stations jin his home state Adamawa, like most elite Northerners he has commercial farms, he's got Mikano which the comapny has constantly denied he's their owner ( but we all know it's possible to own a company by proxy), and he's got other business interests that hasn't caught the attention of the media.

However we all know Atiku made mad money as deputy comptroller in customs ( He even acknowledged to have started running transport business across boarder even as a mid level customs officers), he allowed his friends import vehicles duty-free, he cleared imported vehicles for his military boys friends, he collected a lot of bribes from customs agents ( my old man was one of them).

Yet majority of the money Atiku is spending today is from his time as VP. Niggga practically sold most of government owned corporations at knockdown price to his friends and fronters. His strong grip on Engr Funsho Kupolokun makes me even believe Atiku will have oil Wells and maybe oil fields to his name ( of course by proxy) .

When it comes to corruption, Atiku worse pass Tinubu aswear. Atiku milked that privitization initiative of OBJ and the thing pain baba gan na why he Diss am wella for him book

The Irony is if Atiku had not been greedy disloyal and overambitious he would have got the presidency easily. It was literally in his palm. But he decided to run a Palace coup on a sharp man, got president blocked and he has since spent the rest of his natural life chasing the position. There is a lesson there.

https://u.osu.edu/introhumanitiesonline/2020/02/04/role-of-christian-missionaries-in-colonial-africa/

This is a good historical piece from the Department of Humanities, Ohio State University, on the role of Christian missionaries in colonial Africa. It explains the role that religion played in the activities of the colonial administrators in Nigeria.

There are tons of such proofs online documenting how the British colonialists used religion to justify and aid their colonization campaign in Nigeria and Africa.

The conclusion of the article is succinctly put:

The Christian missionaries of the Colonial Age worked in very different ways from the missionaries of today. They believed that converting native people to Christianity was of such dire importance that they felt justified in forcibly and violently converting them. This did much damage not only to those directly impact by the hostility, but to the generations of lost culture and tradition of native religions all across Africa.

I didn't expect that anyone would contest these glaring facts. And this guy even said GB wasn't interested in the religion of the colonized.

What a blatant lie!

In the case of the North, the British missionaries tried many times but failed. It wasn't that they didn't try to penetrate the North at all as they did in the South, especially Yorubaland.

It's another case entirely how Western education introduced by Christianity made some citizens hard to control for the colonial administrators, which was why Lord Lugard seemed to be anti-missionary.

They used religion (Christianity) to aid their colonization agenda in Nigeria, but as soon they found out that some citizens became too educated and too smart (by reading some books), the colonial administrators started opposing some missionary activities.

Obviously, their introduction of the religion wasn't to civilize Africa as they claimed but to aid pillaging of its resources and controlling them in an easier manner.
