Distroy made some good points especially on how we waste valuable time on frivolities instead of bettering our lives with said time, 4-8hrs a week learning a particular skill for 6months will make a whole lot of difference for us. An indepth knowledge of Excel and SQL will offer you a good paying job that will help foot your bills then add Python or R knowledge to it and you'll be a king in the Data Analysis space.
I am advising those who want to change their financial standing to learn a skill and master then do some projects whether paid or volunteered and showcase to prospective clients as evidence of your proficiency. Some of my friends/acquaintances who took the IT path seriously are living a better life than me at the moment and I am happy for them because some of them I showed them the path even though I didn't follow through with it.

Few days ago here, someone was saying that there is nothing like being detribalized and I could only laugh at such an inane take.
Myself and I'm sure many others here have spent most of our lives in cities which are by nature diverse. Throughout our lives in this modern era, we've been exposed to different cultures, different habits, different foods, people of diverse backgrounds etc etc.

Many of us here had teachers from very diverse backgrounds and denominations, we had friends from different tribes, such that our tribal identities have been shed to a very large extent.

For me as an individual, my name may be the only tribal identity I possess. I barely dress in Igbo traditional attire, my meals are a blend of different traditions, I barely speak my language because I'm in a city. I mean I want to think that I'm as detribalized as can be. I'm not defined by my tribal identity and I don't carry my tribe for head.
Afterall, my great great grand parents were killing twins for fun. They were sacrificing their fellow human beings to invisible deities, they were segregating amongst themselves (osu). Should I be proud of such a culture??

What is the benefit of belonging to a particular tribe? What is the natural advantage an Igbo person has that a Yoruba person doesn't and vice versa?
Tribe is a human construct that needs to he cast away as soon as possible. Tribalism is simply a tool of division amongst the human race. How do you explain a person who claims he's successful in life harboring an opinion such as this?

You see that jude of a boy/man, he has a different way of playing with words and he has good handwriting! I always enjoy his take especially on international politics and economy.

If there is anything I hate aside being idle, its Culture especially the ones display in my state. Whoever experiences the so culture from my tribe will know that, that shit has caused more harm, segregation, pains, loss, death and injustice to the women than good. I mean, what is the benefit of tagging one awkward shit as a culture to inflict pain on someone Are you mad or stupid or both

That concept- Culture, is an illusion, I mean, it's never exist, It's a human design, it's a human construct to show their societal characters to us. They just tacitly add language in their definitions.


When I did that course in 100 level,( Nigeria people and their culture) I nearly cried. Thank God I managed to pass it. I cannot see myself studying shits that is not adding up nor is it making sense.
