Once upon a time, world cup representation rules used to be different. (Alfredo di Stefano, the Real Madrid great played for more than one country at successive world cups.....).

Find out when the two events took place before passing judgement.
If the lad had decided for United States sporting before his father became President then you have to cut them some slack. If not then the debate continues. But the lad is an adult and can take whatever decision he wants independently.

Most of your so called big men in Nigeria have some or all their children as foreign nationals and sometimes do represent those nations in various fields of endeavour. It is very common.
