Check the definition of culture in a standard dictionary or a standard book of sociology or anthropology.

Do that as an assignment and check the various definition of culture given by experts in that field.

Learn first before arguing. As I said before, religion is one of the major elements of culture. Culture is an umbrella term for language, belief systems or religion, norms, values, and customs of a people.

For a once, I was not a fan of religion.....but when I compare religions with logics, I find Islam more reasonsble to some extend to others.

You want the Igbo tribe and culture to die? If you don't uphold your native culture, it'll die.

Do you want that to happen? If many Igbo people behave like that, the Igbo culture will soon die a natural death.

You can't do without a culture. If you feel otherwise, show me a man without a culture?

Even if you discard the Igbo culture, you'd still adopt another culture which will most likely be a Western culture.

You uphold your culture for self-preservation and self-determination of your people.

To function well in a society, everyone needs some sort of programming, which is what cultures are.

But there are bad programs (bad aspects of a culture) in all cultures that people should condemn.
And one should learn to learn, unlearn, and relearn to get rid of any bad programs they got from the social conditioning of culture.
It's not realistic to say that people should do away with culture.
It's like saying a person should stop breathing, that they would survive without air.

It's simply impossible. Your culture is your identity. It's what defines your personality, whether you like it or not.
