Good evening everyone, please I am considering buying the Peugeot 307 and I'll need honest user experience and advice on either the manual or auto tranny. Thank you in advance.
NB: I don't have money for tokunbo, hence it's a used one, just to be more specific.

Please mods help push this to front page for a wider view and input. Thanks.

Please go for the manual avoid the auto tranny. Especially as it is a Nigerian used not tokunbo.

Searched and went through all 307 related topics on NL yet I'm not close to being satisfied.

If you are bent on the 307 then make out time a visit a good Peugeot mechanic and chat with him or look for a user of same ride a have a chat about your concerns.

For me I fancy the 308 but I have not seen it in my area to make assessment of.

You're very correct. I hope the electrical ish isn't with the manual tranny too?

Does it mean the manual don't have electrical issues? It's the electrical issues that is majorly the problem.

Oga buy anyone , too many options will ruin your choice , I bought a right-handed manual 307 against the world opposing . Enjoying every bit of it

308 too is cool , but not as durable as 307 . I think northern mech know their way around older models of Peugeot , but those new products enh from 2009 upwards give them head/heartache

Thanks but explain how the 307 is better than the 308?
I thought the 308 has more interior space and better design than the 307.

Interior design & the exterior of the 308 is superb , better handling too , though I only drove it within & not for long , my only issue of the 308 is some mech find it difficult around the vehicle ..

Thanks, difficult in terms of maintenance I think.
