From my observations I've seen that fee Nigerians are into Data Science. Even analyst are few. I don't mean those excel and power bi analyst.

I've just been accepted into ALX/Udacity scholarship for data analyst and the curriculum is amazing. I plan to migrate to data scientist later. I'll be documenting my experience here for future sake.

I pray for perseverance.

Point of correction, many Nigerians are already data scientists and many are currently studying data science.

Nothing new there. It's a general learning you can find on Udemy or even YouTube. I got the scholarship twice and didn't attend any because it's something I have the knowledge already.
As a beginner, it's good. But, not for advanced users, cus you need something more than that.

I applied for the program too but I haven't gotten any mail from them. Have you gotten any mail notifying you of your selection?

Yes they've sent out mails

I applied but wasn't selected, they sent me mails. Right now I am looking into sql and some of the python question they set as entry exam.

Pleaee when Is the next batch coming up and is it advisable to study financial analyst or just data analyst
