Politicians know how to source for funds. Peter Obi definitely didn't run on funds donated by me and u to become governor.

Peter Obi has been travelling all around the country attending rallies, debates and political forums. I can tell u for free that all the expenses he's incurred are certainly not from his pocket and neither are they are all donated by the common man like me and u.

A typical Nigerian politician which Obi is knows u need to make trade-offs, promise some people contracts, promise to support the donors future political ambitions, etc for u to get the needed funds.
We are in Nigeria and not America where u promise big pharma's to sponsor bills that will profit them just to get campaign funds.

How I think campaigns should be funded doesn't matter at this point because it won't change anything. It's not like there will be any transparency and proper accounts of funds will be submitted to me. However they want they should fund their campaigns.

I will vote for who I prefer but I won't donate to any billionaire politician's campaign.

I will advise you shun any yeye protest under guise of aluta or SUG nonsense, except u have intention of being a politician later in the future.

All those nonsense no dey pay and u are at risk of being harmed in case the protest turns rowdy and the authorities decide to handle the protest by using force. The annoying part is those SUG guys will still receive money from the authorities in form of bribe, "transport" fare and "thanks for coming" . Na only the main SUG guys go share the money while the struggle will die a silent death.

If u no use ur head, dem go use am for u. Some of the main SUG guys I knew back then are either working for the state government in different capacities (In fact one of them contested the last LGA/LCDA elections last time and is now an elected Chairman of an LCDA in Lagos). These they were able to achieve because they had their game well planned and they used their connection from SUG days to warm their way into the political scene.

As for u wey be normal student , if ur skin no full no put body. Finish ur studies in peace and plan ur next move.
