Speaking of which, There is a TV Series being released about border patrol unit by Foxton Media. its mostly in Swahili so not meant for international audience, but it looks like its gonna be action packed, atleast based on the trailer.

Foxton Media has unveiled the first trailer for upcoming military drama series Mpakani scheduled to premiere on KBC Channel 1 on Monday, November 28th at 10 PM.

The series revolves around a Special Intervention Unit (SIU) of the administration police dispatched to the frontline in a fictitious town called Wajii, to deal with the threat posed by the notorious criminal Burhaan who is planning a major terrorist attack in Nairobi.

Mpakani follows the personal lives and inner workings of the 6-unit team stationed at a regular Rural Border Patrol Unit (RBPU) base at the Kenya/Somalia border
