OasisX:Yes, the government should recruit teachers...Qualified teachers.. But since they cannot recruit, an issue that predates even before 1999, what do you expect them to do? Post corpers to teach? Or let the classrooms be empty since they cannot recruit that much? |

izzou:..... and you and I believe its not affecting the basic Education system in Nigeria one way or the other? You always call out Government for wrongdoings but seems this one is an exceptional case I guess? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Nostradamus1: 11:26am On Nov 28, 2022 |
OasisX:I can't seriously doubt it sha . St Jude at Eziora Ozubulu had 6 corpers last year. Same as Seat of Wisdom at Egbema Ozubulu . I don't really know about other schools in the area like Okongwu memorial ( although I think it should be sizeable) BTW, what agenda are you trying to push here because I "think" it is the same everywhere especially the North |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 11:27am On Nov 28, 2022 |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:29am On Nov 28, 2022 |
OasisX:Okay, let them not post corpers to schools again. Let us wait till when they recruit the qualified teachers. This option is okay baa? In my opinion, you have a point, but you are fighting a solution, instead of a problem. The government cannot recruit the required number of teachers, so they ask corpers to fill that gap. How is this an abomination? I think i don't really understand you |

OasisX:We will have a new government in 2023. Hopefully, it may be your candidate. Maybe he will scrap corpers from schools and hire qualified teachers |

izzou:Izzou.... I get your point, I clearly do. But if you won't misconstrue me as defending PMB, don't you think we need numbers in the Military and Police to tackle Insecurity too? This is not an Agenda, I do not have time for lengthy discourse on this one. Let's make it brief please. |

A good day to remind my fellow patriotic Obidients to add their widowsmite to the campaign. The campaign needs resources to boost our actualization dreams. I know you want to. Just dial your bank ussd code and add this number people. Nothing is too small. ONLY FOR PATRIOTIC NIGERIANS WITH A DESIRE FOR CHANGE! ADDRESSED TO ALL VICTIMS OF BAD GOVERNANCE.

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 11:41am On Nov 28, 2022 |
OasisX:So why didn't they fix it in the last 8 years?? This current presidential aspirant promised to put an end to all strikes and create students loan, mind you I'm not even talking of Buhari oo, I'm talking of Tinubu. He's the one who made those promises and people listened to him. Were those promises fulfilled? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:44am On Nov 28, 2022 |
OasisX:The government found a way to reduce the gap in the teaching force, by telling corpers to go there. It may not be the best option, but it has some form of effectiveness. It is absolutely better than nothing. A corper has a tertiary form of education, so it is assumed that he can handle the primary and secondary. Yes he may not be qualified, but the necessary knowledge can be transferred. The government didn't train you in the uni, but they can use your service in one year for some stipends. You can't compare it with insecurity. Nobody was trained to kill in the uni or poly. So the government would have to spend resources training a corper to handle armour (and he will leave in one year oh). Isn't it better to use that same resource to training someone for life? |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:05pm On Nov 28, 2022 |
OasisX:For you to train anybody, you need funds Funds to procure equipments Funds to establish facilties Funds to hire the appropriate personnel Funds, Funds, Funds.... Where will Nigeria get it? That is why i said both BAT, Obi and Atiku have no HOW to solve anything. They are just telling you what you want to hear. The CBN just said the excess crude oil savings that was 3 billion in 2014, is ABSOLUTE ZERO today. But no, our saviour is coming in 2023. I was happy when they asked Kwankwaso how he would employ 1 million personnel into the military. He said he will make WAEC free. SK have the funds to train anybody. Nigeria does not. |

izzou:You're 100% right with the highlighted part. I've said it here many times, we are simply gambling and hoping we pick the right choice. Let's put aside the Candidates and dissect our major Problems in Nigeria, cause, effect and solution. Who knows maybe they do view this thread for Information. We can help by contributing positively on this Board too. |

OasisX:It is on this board i heard that debates don't matter. But i think everybody here is educated enough to know when someone is trying to give you Lamba. The woman selling pepper may be swayed by promises, but i expect educated people to see through the bullshiiit Nigeria is broke. Yet everybody's manifesto os talking about how they will create this and that, increase this and that, etc. BAT said he will add 50,000 to the army. How will you pay them, equip them and fund them? Just multiply the basic salary for a soldier by 50,000 and 12 months. This is excluding allowances, and other resources and weapons needed. The others have their own promises that when you look atvit critically, it isnt feasible. But then, i am not God. |

izzou: ![]() .... of course, everyone here knows the truth but we will rather let sentiment and emotion becloud our sense of reasoning. Nigeria is definitely broke, but how do you think this problem can be solved? By removing subsidy? By increasing tax? By selling Government Assets? Consumption to Production ish na Zobo.... ain't gonna buy it. |

Seems a very good time to remind people of the difference between candidatures. What they represent and why not voting should never be a choice. Donjazet2: |

OasisX:I need have enough data on the state of our finances for me to make any personal submission. I was hoping to hear it from the candidates, but only Obi tries to give numbers. That's why I can never rate Buhari. The guy took the easy way out Take loans and build infrastructures. Some of these projects cannot pay for themselves. Rather, they become liabilities that need more loans to service them. You just shared a document on using 100 billion loan to build roads at 15.6% interest. How will that loan ever be repaid in this life? I have once asked if we generate anything in this country. Our debt was 70 billion at Dec 2021, and as at June 2022, it was 151 billion. ECA account is now Zero. What masterclass did Buhari actually apply for 8 years? I expect the next president to take this route too. Use loans to build roads, and everything. Then campaign with it for 8 years. |
