Mom asked me today how my dating life is going and why I never brought a gf home yet. I usually answer with I havent met the right one yet But this time I decided to be honest and told her that I never had a gf and gave up on dating. She was shocked and hit me with the most answers possible dont be silly cmon you are only 22 there are girls out there u just need to talk to them I have to admit I got mad and told her that women are whores that would betray you the first chance they get. I'm just chatting with you because u feel you have no one to talk to...I believe it's better this way because it's a faceless forum... No good girl will like to date anyone who thinks of her in that derogatory way.. U are young.. u are 22.. U will come around...But on the event that such episode repeats itself again @ 34, than I will know that you are serious... for now keep holding to that thought..  But stop the name calling... If you have a sister, she is also a woman... If u have female cousins, they are women as well... Richy4:You guys are just being unnecessarily sentimental. Why would a responsible mother living in Nigeria be more concerned about his 22yr old son bringing home a woman, rather than on how he will survive the harsh economic environment and realities in that country  At 22, i was still in 3rd year @medical school and the last thing in my responsible mother's mind was which woman i would bring home. The guy don graduate from school? Has he succeeded in getting a good job or a successful business? These and others are what i honestly believe the woman should concern herself more with. 1 Like |

ChybuzzDD:I didn't read where OP made mention of their economic situation... He might be an only son which could be the reason behind her mother's action, they could be way off in their home we don't know... We have limited information, so u can't conclude as well based on what you think should be happening in the young man's life... All I want him to stop doing is calling women names.. he is way too young to follow such pathway.. 2 Likes |

MethPedo:That basically explained her behaviour.. No parent would encourage their kids to bring a woman home without a reason such as that... Your mum is a woman, she will like to be loved by you first before thinking of letting you have anything to do with a woman.. But situations has made her to forget about herself for now and focus on the most pressing need... .All she wanted was a grand child or children... Whatever you say to her in future, be nice but follow your heart... As I said earlier, it's not all women that are bad...
