Exactly!

My question is this - when will 70 - 80% of elections not end in a tribunal?

Not just elections anymore, even primaries - they dash to tribunal.

Even Bukola Saraki when he was mercilessly trashed in Kwara was still talking about irregularities when it was obvious the game was up.

Hang over from the Rivers banquet! Why are they paying that much? For which work? So people should be allowed to be manipulated and cheated by the so-called lower and the appeal Court? What wike gave you is confusing you.
Re: Nigerians Go To Court Over Every Little Disagreement - Justice Ariwoola by afbstrategies: 6:34pm On Nov 28, 2022
Isn't that why we have the court to begin with? The problem is that Nigerian judges use these trials to enrich themselves by receiving 'Ganduje' from politicians and thiefnubus.

Nigerians not litigious. Americans who would "sue your a*se" at least infringement should be the most litigious people.

However, Nigerian politicians are not most litigious people because they lawyers who want their share of their loot would always assure that there is a loophole to explore.

If Nigerians were litigious, public power supply companies, manufacturers, Nigerian Police, etc would have had their full in court. Nigerians take any sh*t that is thrown at them. Besides, person wey never chop dey sue person.

Well Nigerian politicians are very litigious

How many cases have you heard in America about party primaries or election matters

Yes now... Why will dss jst wake up and pick up someone without charging d person to court.... Is dat not kidnapping?
Re: Nigerians Go To Court Over Every Little Disagreement - Justice Ariwoola by Jokerman(m): 6:38pm On Nov 28, 2022
That's because most Nigerians are full of greed and thieves.

Imagine as a realtor, you show a client a plot of land and he buys it for 100M, now for him to pay commission of 5%, he would want to give your 500K... how won't this end in court?? You have money to buy land 100M, but can't pay commission of 5M naira?

He should not blame Nigerians but the lawyers that are always escalate small issues to put food on their tables.

Lawyers may not also be blamed because they are troublesome clients that will give lawyers work due to the fact that the lawyer is on his monthly payroll.

APC government made it worst...

No more joy.
No more tolerance.
Anger and hunger everywhere.
The little peace we are managing destroyed.
The little unity disappeared.

It shall never be well with APC!

The Judiciary is the most useless arm of Government in Nigeria. The executive has hijacked them, that why Buhari can toss them anyhow.

It's obvious he is not well-travelled cos if he has met Americans,he won't say this.Americans that can sue for even using foul or racist language.Lawyers are very rich men over there .it begs the question, are Nigerian criminal lawyers rich?
He is beginning to talk like a senile old man. Hopefully he gets to retire soonest before he disgraces the Supreme Court one of these days. America that a Lady in California sued God. The pending court cases in only one of the major cities in America surpasses that of the Nigerian Supreme Court.

So in essence Nigerians are to blame unless the clients are Martians.

Who did this to us as a country? Is it better to take matters into our own hands? If only the courts don’t always favour the highest bidders we won’t have to sue as much as we do. Go to America and Europe and see how the courts systems function. I can already see that this man will be worse than the one he replaced.

“We have said it repeatedly that ordinarily, most appeals should be allowed to end at the Court of Appeal, but such constitutional provision is yet to be enacted so we have no blame in it.”

It's done that way in the United States. For better or worse the Supreme Court picks and chooses the cases it wants to hear. There should be a method to force them to hear a case but alas there isn't.
