You want to argue about footballing prowess between Ghana and Nigeria?
Do you know when Ghana defeated Nigeria 7-0?! Ghana had won 4 Africa Nations Cup as far back as 1982 when Nigeria had only 1! Ghana has beaten Nigeria more than any other team in the world!
Ghana went down in the 1980s because of economic and political downturns and had even withdrawn from the Libya 1982 Nations Cup. The govt of Libya (under Gaddafi) had to sponsor them and catered for their expenses. Ghana eventually beat Libya in the final to win their 4th Nations Cup. Again, they pulled out after the 1984 edition and only reappeared in 1992.
They have been to the final of the Nations Cup on about 9 occasions, more than Nigeria.
On several occasions, Ghana used their local homebased players to play against Nigeria's best foreign based professionals in Lagos in Nations Cup qualifiers and we could not beat them. Even at Tunisia 1994, Nigerians were praying for Cote de'voire to beat them so we could avoid them in the semi-final, because we were scared of them. The fear of Abedi Pele was the beginning of wisdom for Nigerian defenders!

Nigeria was very successful between 1994-2000, but football encounters between the 2 countries started long before then. Go and ask people like Segun Odegbami, Christian Chukwu, etc. who played against Ghana....they would tell you about Ghana. You can even google some of Odegbami's articles about football between Ghana and Nigeria
The last time Ghana won an AFCON trophy I doubt you were even born, which goes to show how you clowns love to bask on old glories. Even the much hyped ego-boosting rants about how you've beaten Nigeria more times in football encounters is clearly a misrepresentation of real facts, because statistically Ghana has only gotten the better of Nigeria in irrelevant friendly matches, both teams are about on par when it comes to wins against each other in COMPETITIVE GAMES.

And who TF was Abedi Pele? I can't remember anytime growing up when Abedi Pele was dreaded by Nigerians, we just saw him as another Pele wanna-be who rocked a ridiculous pony tail hairstyle, but we acknowledged he was a very skillful player...the only African players that Nigerians truly dreaded were mostly from Cameroon who in their prime were the only team that gave Nigeria hell, they beat us when it mattered more especially in finals (twice actually in 1984 and 2000)...Ghana never really scared us until maybe around 2006 when Ghanaian football went through some resurgence just about the same time Nigerian football was in stagnating with the older generation of Nigerian players already declining.

Lastly, Ghana only really became a real global football reckoning force when they made their made their first world cup appearance in 2006, you were only relevant in the African continent back in the 80's when you won your last AFCON trophy (an era when African football was barely even coming into global recognition), like I always say, Ghana is a football powerhouse in Africa just as much as Ivory coast, Senegal, Cameroon etc...but unlike these teams, you're yet to win a damn trophy on smart HD TV, you're just like England that prides itself in winning a world cup in 1966!
