A001:
What you think is juju at work is simply unexplained biology, physics, chemistry, and psychology.

It's all physical. Nothing spiritual or supernatural.

Scientists have even explained some of these phenomena that seem mysterious.

If you demonstrate any juju to me that works, I assure you there's a law of nature (scientific concept) hidden that you or the scientists don't know about yet.

But give it time. It'll be still unravelled and demystified.

In the past, common cold, headache, and malaria used to be regarded as the handiwork of demons (though some people of shallow reasoning faculty still think so because of religion), but since the past 100 years, we've understood the microbial agents (too tiny to be seen by the naked eyes) that cause these ailments.

With more understanding of nature by scientists in the coming years, we'll surely have less indoctrinated, juju-believing religious people.
Abiku are refer to as mermaid not knowing it is as a result of sickle cell
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 8:16pm On Nov 29, 2022
I read Wole soyinkas ake

Children with sickle cell were called abiku

They were assumed to have a connection to the spirit world

When they had attacks they said thier friends were calling them

Everyone believed this even the children. Wole had an abiku friend who was telling him how they were always calling her from the spirit world.

Modified - damn I was beaten to it

Abi o. Now with more understanding of genotype and sickle cell anemia, there's been a drop in the incidence of abiku or ogbanje.

Definitely. However, the same thing applies to those funding the Labour Party or any other political party.

You wey be OG for this game.

Someone who is relatively unknown cannot fund an election.

Abaribe claimed to have spent 100m naira on the primary election of his senatorial district. Just imagine how much Obi would have spent.

Maybe you think it's the toro kobo that people are contributing on twitter.

Obi n co understand they will have to spend b4 embarking....

With or without donation, they will contest to the end and that is fact....

Fund raising is more like a strategy to showcase they ain't having too much to solicit for sympathy and pity .....it is a tactic on its own

I once worked for a digital advertising firm. The money to advertising on a static billboard is in millions per month. We had digital billboards, and one Telco was paying up to a billion yearly just to advertise on them

Let me not talk about radio adverts. I once paid for my business to be announced on Wazobia FM, and it was like 13k per announcement (depending on the period). This is the cheapest, compared to jingles and others.

Obi will spend billions to make an impact

He has money sha

I'm sure Obi will only spend a very small fraction of his money if he spends it at all.

As for the advertisement you did. Was it worth it? Been thinking of doing something like that

Definitely my point.

These men knows what it takes and they willingly engaged.

Fund raising is just a tactic to win votes from emotional voters who would rather vote with sympathy.
