The German justice minister acknowledged that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was "Berlin's contribution to the outbreak of war in Ukraine." “Given what we are doing today, the decision to implement Nord Stream 2 after the annexation of Crimea in 2014 was Germany’s contribution to the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Starlink raises prices for Ukraine, official notices sent to Ukrainian customers. The new tariff has risen from $60 to $75 per month, and the terminal and antenna now cost $700 instead of $500. The new prices will be effective from the 29th of December. The U.S. will obviously pay this new rate.

Mali busts French narcotics trafficking ring Bamako announced that it had arrested and detained four criminals who had been trafficking drugs and holding hostages. All the criminals are of French nationality: one is of Malian origin, another Senegalese, and the other two are ethnic Frenchmen. The crime ring had been holding for ransom three women and their six children, all of whom have now been freed. |

The Barak Magen system includes an advanced threat detection radar, a weapon system and a long-range interceptor produced by the Aerospace Industry. The 'LARD' type interceptor is an interceptor capable of dealing with a variety of aerial threats including: airplanes, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, steep runway threats, coastal missiles and more. The Barak Magen system is an additional layer of defense in the multi-layered defense system that will thicken the envelope and air defense capabilities of the Saar 6 missile ships. The system constitutes a significant layer in the air defense capabilities of the sea arm, in achieving naval superiority and its involvement in the IDF's decision-making in the face of a variety of threats and scenarios from the sea and the coast. In addition, the system is expected to strengthen the close cooperation of the Navy and the Air Force, by adding new capabilities, and strengthening the common language and integration between the arms.
