The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday commended President Muhammadu Buhari for its giant strides in the oil sector which has seen Nigeria restore its oil production volume to over 1.5m bpd after the government declared a war on crude oil theft.

In a statement signed by Minister of State, Labour and Employment and Director, Public Affairs and Spokespersons, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN), the APC said its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will take the achievements of President Buhari to the next level.

While noting that the Buhari administration will achieve 1.7m bpd production by the end of 2022, the party said if voted as President, Tinubu will take it to 2.6m by the end of 2027.

The statement reads "The All Progressives' Congress Presidential Campaign Council, on behalf of its flag bearer, H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, heartily welcomes the recent news that Nigeria has substantially restored its national oil production volumes to over 1.5m barrels per day following the historic and combined efforts of Mr. President – who is also the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources – as well as our security agencies, the NNPC and its partners for this wonderful feat".

"This is particularly appreciated in recognition of the ignoble role previous administrations had actively played in aiding and abetting of these illicit activities in the past at great expense to the nation.

We are equally enthused to note that we are expected to achieve 1.7m barrels per day production by the end of this year which places our nation almost in full compliance with the OPEC quota".

"The excellent strides of the APC Administration in the Oil sector shall be further expanded by our candidate, H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu . Recall that ASIWAJU served for over a decade at the zenith of the international Oil & Gas industry as a private citizen and is best placed to achieve his target of 2.6m barrels per day by 2027".

"Asiwaju seeks to achieve this through enhanced investments in the sector and active stakeholders’ engagement - a move he has already begun with the historic visit to Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State last week".

"We applaud Mr. President as he finishes strong in the sector and assure Nigerians of the preparedness of Asiwaju to take this to the next level"

Subsidy gulps N150 billion every month.” N150 billion is still less than the N200 billion monthly transport bonus bill the regime will pay to 400 million Nigerians. In other words, Nigeria will spend more money on transport bonus to an amorphous, unidentifiable, and probably cooked-up 40 million poor Nigerians than the subsidies it says it pays on petroleum subsidies, which it says are too expensive to be sustainable. That makes absolutely no sense.

The last time the Buhari regime increased fuel prices last year, it said it had completely done away with fuel subsidies and had left the price of petrol to the vagaries of demand and supply. Now, the regime’s honchos say again that the subsidy they said they’d completely removed, for which there was no allocation in the 2021 budget, must be removed again! ....."

Yeah the massive crude oil theft, homongous subsidy corruption and the zero revenue yielding moribund refineries( despite their fake and failed one year one refinery promise of 2014). E no go better for these bastards. Nigerians think and act right.
