A Lagos with no pipe-borne water, central sewage system, motorable roads, or street lights. Where roads are built without pavements, markings, signages, or traffic lights. The traffic in Lagos is so insane, workers wake up by 4 am only to get to work by 9 am. What is Lagos State Government doing with our N50B monthly taxes? Lagosians pay the highest taxes in Nigeria and gets zero benefit in return. In fact, double VAT on all edibles bought in Lagos. Every Lagosian is his own local council, he provides his own water, sewage system, electricity, and gas, and pays for private security in his estate. What is that thing Lagos state does for us after collecting our taxes? Where are the hospitals or good schools for our children? Where are the emergency first-responders when you need them?
