Lagosians pay the highest taxes in Nigeria and gets zero benefit in return. In fact, double VAT on all edibles bought in Lagos. Every Lagosian is his own local council, he provides his own water, sewage system, electricity, and gas, and pays for private security in his estate.

What is that thing Lagos state does for us after collecting our taxes? Where are the hospitals or good schools for our children? Where are the emergency first-responders when you need them? Where are the basic amenities residents should enjoy in their state?
