Location: Benue River, Nigeria

The Loko-Oweto bridges are located over the Benue River in the southern region of Nigeria.

This pair of bridges have a total length of approximately 1835m and are a build up of 20 typical, 85m long interior spans and two 67m long end spans.

They were designed with reinforced concrete segments and constructed using a form traveller, with the balanced cantilever method. The typical segment length is about 5m, whilst the deck depth varies from 4.5m above the piers to 2.3m deep at the mid span

Praise incompetence who borrowed money to complete a bridge that was started before him else he wouldn't have touched it and the money borrowed will not be paid by him

Whoever pays the money technically built the bridge. If towed, then the people built it

If we go by this your statement, then Nigerians should forever be grateful to Ibrahim badamasi babangida (IBB) for building the 11.8 km 3rd mainland bridge over the lagos lagoon.

That is exact reason PDP is a no-no for me when it comes to voting because they always start project, but don't know how to complete. And when you make enquiry further under PDP, it is either they don't pay contractors or shared money allocated to fund such project. What is the benefit of abandon project to masses? APC really tried in infrastructure development by starting and finishing instead of starting and abandoning that were common with PDP. Thanks to Buhari; those who are born with hatred in their hearts toward Buhari will still ask you to name one project Buhari did because hatred can't let them see well

The second Niger bridge was done by Jonathan Administration. The planning, feasibility studies and mobilisation funds were paid for by the Jonathan administration. Every other thing Buhari investment will be paid back by bridge users/ motorists.

Kudos to the govt for finishing this project. It has made traveling from abuja to otukpo easy and fast for a lot of people.
