Bro he was stating the obvious that someone in possession of such material is likely not willing to share. Life is not rosy and kumbaya, it's a cutthroat experience especially for an opportunity like this.

Alright.

This is what it was going to descend to. All the rat’s coming out of their holes dropping emails with “please send”. I’m done with y’all. Wish you all luck. Signing out.
Calling people rats because they are interested in study materials, there’s no way something in it won’t assist, a question can compel someone to study a subject in maths or science and use the knowledge for the main exam…

I have been a silent observer until now. So far, you have done a good job at helping everyone here and I commend you, but I need to set you straight also. You appear to be entitled and want to remain the center of attraction. This speaks a lot about your personality, Nairaland is not a place to validate yourself or your self worth. I recommend you apologize to everyone here, you don’t call fellow humans rats because they seek for extra knowledge. It’s clear that these materials are not past questions but going through it could spur a need for further study.

If you choose to go incognito here, it further buttresses my point of you seeking validation through NL.

Again, you have been very helpful to everyone, but you have to apologize and retain the respect you’ve gathered so far. Shalom.

So it’s a bit hilarious that you think I want to be the “Centre of attraction” or “validate myself on NL”. I have been down this route you all are going. I have absolutely no need to validate myself here. I’m taking a step back to a younger me and stuff I would have done differently. And advising based on that. Many people will not take that advise and it’s fine. It’s not mandatory. But when I see some obvious signs of outright laziness I get irritated. Apologies if I expressed that irritation in a wrong way or at the wrong folks. I literally put a direct link to the so-called “past questions”. Do you know how many “please send me” came after that? 9! (EDIT: 10. One more came in while I was drafting this response.) I know the material is not NLNG Past questions. FACT . I went out of my way to google and put up a direct link to the so-called “past questions”. And 9 10 people are still posting “please send me”. Tells me a lot about the amount of effort people are willing to put. Want things on their laps. Spoon fed. But hey it’s fine. I only responded because you built a background to your response, and took out time to write a lengthy one. I’m not going “incognito because I seek validation”. I am minimizing wasted effort. Thanks for your response all the same.

PS: The more everyone posts on this thread, the more the entire process is publicly documented. So that in future, when the 2027 GTs are looking for resources, they can easily and readily reference the 2022 GT thread. “Please send me” only takes away from the thread without giving. But again, maybe I’m thinking too long. We may not even have a 2027.

PPS: I apologize for calling people “rats”. I was out of line. It was used to connote several “ghost readers”. “Ghost readers” here connotes folks who contribute nothing to the discourse but are willing to grab all that other people contribute. I found it irritable back then. And still find it irritable now. And I was equally vociferous about it back on the 2013 thread. Going forward, I will probably adopt the “ghost mode” approach and just keep tabs on the progress of the recruitment. If I get mentioned, I may or may not respond depending on the mention. I will refrain from trying to take the lead and come across as trying to be the “center of attraction”. Again I wish you guys all the best and godspeed. And may the cream rise to the top.

I no wan tag anybody here but why do some Nigerians feel that you have to go through the long process before you get something you can get in an easy way. It doesn’t make sense. Life is about making things easy. If you found something the hard way, your aim should be to make it easy for people coming after you to seek for that same thing. The fact that people want things easier doesn’t make them lazy and not hardworking.
This same mentality is why some people in high places don’t help other people because they feel like they went through tooth and nail to get where they are and so you should do the same.
It’s very wrong. E no make sense.

Off point.

This thread was created for the very purpose of making it an informative one, but a lot of the people coming to scoop information don't do the basic of information gathering.

What the person you are trying to quote said is very right, it's even annoying and toy see it not just here but on different platforms from WhatsApp to telegram, same mentality.

A simple and efficient way of doing this is to upload the resource to cloud , then those that need them go download instead of spamming the group with "send me, send me".

I agree, this is a brilliant suggestion. We need to do this in a smarter way to avoid derailing the thread. Any of the folks who received the study guide should upload to a cloud drive and share link
