I transferred about #170,000, my house rent money to my Sterling
Bank wallet about 2 weeks ago. I was suppose to pay my house rent last week with the money. I opened my sterling bank app, the One bank app to make transfer last week Tuesday, which was 29th of November and noticed that my money wasnt reflecting on the app at all, my account balance was showing #0.00.

I reported to the bank the next day to complain and I was told to wait for 48hours that it was a network glitch. After 48hours my money still did not reflect.

I complained to their help account on twitter and was told that they are running an upgrade that is why the mobey isnt reflecting and that the issue will be resolved soon.

Today will make it one week that I cant have access to my money and Sterling bank is still claiming that they are running an upgrade.

My rent is due and I cant pay up not because I cant afford to but because Sterling Bank is running an upgrade.

Please I need help on how to recover my money from Sterling bank.

Central Bank of Nigeria should look into this matter too. Im really tired and fed up.

Please dominique, mukina2, seun. Help me get this to frontpage to enable it reach the authorities please.

If this story is true at all. I hope you are not trying to use comments by hopebringer to decietve your innocent landlord who wants his rent ?

It is like because of the upgrade because money cannot leave your account without you receiving a debit alert.

You can try withdrawing the money from a branch (physical hall) of the bank because the upgrade will likely not affect the systems used in the banking halls. The system in the hall will reflect your true account balance.

There's nothing they can do about it even in the banking hall.
And you left like that. You really don't need your money and your landlord/Agent must really be nice.
Constitute nuisance there and you'll see your money in your account.

call them out on Facebook and Twitter your money will be credited or reversed back.. very useless bank . I have since stopped using them
