His party was winning parliament seats in those periods and building relevance... If labour can't win nass seats and other state assembly seats then they should forget any hope of dislodging PDP or APC in 2027...

He's already the favourite now. So thanks for the advice. This current massive support and grace is beyond Obi himself. It's very organic as the people are the ones driving his movement not him staying strong or not.

This why we talk about track record. Has Obi ever stayed put? He was brought in without any political experience into APGA to become governor. As soon as he finished his tenure and knowing there was no upside in remaining in APGA, despite swearing publicly on the life of his children, he left to PDP where PDP and Atiku gave him a platform for national exposure as VP candidate in 2019. He was there at Atiku’s declaration calling him his leader, as soon as he realized he could not achieve his ambitions in PDP, he left. You think a man with such a track record will remain in a struggling LP when he loses? To do what? …to spend his money going up and down supporting LP candidates that will lose while he waits 4 years to run again? Does his track record suggest he is that kind of man?
