You need a golden score of 8777. With the 8 in listening. Anything short of an 8 in listening is -50 points.

House, I need advise abeg. My bro carelessly missed the deadline to schedule his biometrics appointment. He was told to submit a letter at the VFS office stating his reasons which he did. Will he get another letter? Does he need to do anything else?

No you can’t create a profile with that result. You need a minimum of 6 across all borders to be able to create a profile. Consider rewriting and aim for LRSW 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 respectively to get the maximum scores for language. The current express entry draws have passed just aiming for 8777. The journey is now tough except you may be lucky to be get a NOI from one of the provinces that picks from the pool until then just aim for the best scores.

and one writes just 1 word will it be marked correct?or must the answer make complete sense to the sentence?
Example

If one writes just hospital (option A) , will the answer be wrong or correct ?

Do i need to submit reference letter as a spouse (dependent). FSW -O. My wife already has a reference and she is the principal applicant.

check the crs calculator for all the variables that give points. With 484 just wait for the scores to go down. Realistic na only that french be your option. Unless you go study in canada, get a job offer, sibling point, 1 year experience in Canada etc

In addition put in some time on the certification process to enable you and your husband practice in Canada. Medicine is a regulated field in Canada. I also suspect that Pharmacy is regulated

I doubt if this will go below 470s. Reason being that people are added to the pool daily. In addition the number of international students that trooped into canada in 2021 and 2022 are more than double pre-covid numbers. A good percentage of these students will be joining the pool as CECs with higher scores and will thus keep the average scores higher than pre-covid levels.

Kindly practice on ieltsonline.com . To be competitive in the pool you need to max your IELTS, have an advanced degree and hopefully age is also on your side
