Dawn of The Dead was a rebooted franchise and many kids who grew up in the original movie were now adults who could easily pay for tickets. So, more success awaits especially when it's a cult classic.
Now start lying and telling me how you haven't heard of Spartans before you watched 300. I can still very much remember in my primary school days how we was thought Greek city states of Sparta, Athens etc. So you want to tell me you know many characters from GOTG?

Try to be consistent for once, cos I very well remember how you were quick to trash talk Birds of Prey then with this same box office and plot stuff but when someone does it to what you like you go nuts.

When you know someone's is dishonest, you
start bringing a movie that was the only one that dared to release in theatres at that time and no single competition as well as the first movie trying to welcome people stuck in their homes to cinemas once again. Blindly failing to remind us how one had 3 months of theatres all to its self and the other a same day streaming release.

At least, if you're bringing comparisons, bring Apples to Apples. Not APPLES TO ORANGES weird comps you're fond of.

Moon Knight, HotD, Interview with the Vampire, Sandman, and even the current His Dark Materials season 3 with just 2episodes aired is getting way better than what Peacemaker gave for the major part of its whole episodes.

It's very amazing that what happened in the US has become: what happened in the world. This shows you don't really know how movies perform because if you do you won't be using the US as the only yardstick.
Many movies had done better in outside markets compared to what they do in the US, so you don't use only US numbers to conclude. And the ZJL already had its fair share from its 2016 version where many prefer to download it on free sites rather than to subscribe to hbomax when they ain't really sure if there will be a significantly big difference from the 2016 version.
Egbon, for the Tom and Jerry thing, look at the "Total consumer spending" numbers and not just the units sold.
This same question can also be asked on why your almighty genius TSS ended up flopping big time when you allegedly claimed that the guy is unanimously loved by almost all. Mind you o, at the time of its release many countries had almost come out from the covid-19. Events and shows had started taking places around the world..

Bro we were using HBOMax numbers and US only cos that's the headquartered of the campaign and US numbers is the most important viewership and subscriber data to HBO.
Other US based streaming services have the US and Canada as it's most important market. It's Average Return Per User (ARPU) can't be matched anywhere else. Also at that time HBOMax wasn't that much spread across the globe.
Saying it crashed so and so system in some other country is funny if the actual streaming service isn't HBOMax. Cos how does it benefit the streamer in the first place.
In the market that mattered most, it didn't match expectations. If you truly had good understanding how Hollywood box office works you would have understood how important US market is.
