Kofoworola Buknor Reveals How #Tinubu Fought Her With Charms When She Served As His Deputy—-The Genius Media Nigeria reports that Kofoworola Buknor, a former deputy governor of Lagos state has revealed how APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu fought her with charms when they worked together. Kofoworola Buknor was Deputy to Tinubu between May 1999 and November, 2003. Both politicians however don’t see eye to eye in recent times. “He has different behaviours. In fact (he fought me) with charms and all.” “So later, Awishe Savage called me and advised me to resign.” “My mother also called me and reminded me that I am her only child, and she is aged. She asked me to resign,” Bucknor told Alaroye in a recent interview in Yoruba. This newspaper recalls that Bucknor-Akerele and Tinubu were both NADECO members. NADECO was a pro-democracy organization whose members protested against the military government of General Sani Abacha over the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election which Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (MKO) Abiola won. When Nigeria returned to Democracy in 1999, Afenifere leaders convinced Bucknor-Akerele to become Tinubu’s deputy. Gibberish, bunkum and balderdash! His Excellence, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a well known Muslim, who values his spirituality with God Claiming Asiwaju Is diabolic and fetish won’t sell to well meaning Lagosians and Nigerians! If charms could get people to the tall podium where Tinubu stands, Asiwaju won’t be there in the first place. It’s not hidden or a secret that, Asiwaju has invested massively in human development, which resulted in him having a wide political reach, tentacles and “WORKING” machinery’s. Kofo went into a fight with the hands that fed her and got beaten bad, and it’s disgusting and irritating to believe that she has the audacity to lay claims to charms! Tinubu dumped Afenifere because they fell into Obasanjo trap. Afenifere declared support for Obasanjo second term and refused to file AD presidential candidate. They reached agreement with Obasanjo that they will support his second term presidential ambition if he agree to support AD 6 south west governors' second term. Obasanjo agreed. Afenifere direct Yorubas to vote PDP at the presidential election level and vote for AD governors in the South West. Then Governorship election comes before presidential. It was that time that Obasanjo changed it to presidential election first before Governorship election. Obasanjo won second term, the whole South West voted for him. During Governorship, he rigged all the AD governors out except except Lagos. It was a big disaster for Afenifere that time. I think the then Afenifere leader per Abraham Adesanya was forced to retire from politics and later died. Then Tinubu warned them against Obasanjo tactics but they failed to listen. Tinubu dumped AD and formed ACN, then reclaim all south west back from PDP. |
