Nigeria has at most 4 cities, Lagos, port Harcourt, Kano and Abuja. not all glorified towns can be called cities. Personally, I don't think a place with below 5 million population should be called a city. A city is usually a diverse melting pot. Just saying.

But factually I believe that table more accurately measured megalopolis' not necessarily cities in general.

Population is not the only metric to judge an area a city if not India and China will have 100 cities each.
Some countries can define an area with 200peoole per square kilometre as a city…. The threshold is much higher in China

Most countries already defined an area as a city and the status quo remains same…. This enables massive government spending and so on.

I'm sorry but this is unnecessary. This new behaviour here where somehow our opinions are measured on how much we have should stop completely. I can only imagine that that will affect a lot of silent readers who may try to contribute their own opinions on the platform.

On this thread, nobody big pass anybody. Nobody is feeding anyone, no one is sponsoring anyone, so there is no need for this mindless class warfare. What one may or may not have is irrelevant to our opinions formed here. This is a place to discuss and exchange ideas, knowledge and opinions. Nothing else. My 2 cents.
