The main reason I never wanted to put any rules or measures in the contest, in the 1st place (before suggestions poured in, to do so), was because I didn't want anybody's feelings getting hurt over a mere contest - like it happened with our boss's then, which changed the face of olding contest in this FTA's forum.

It's ONLY HUMAN to feel hurt. That I know too well. And since 1+1=2, fxblue will definitely happen to some pipo; and it has already happened. And for the sake of PEACE and TRANQUILITY, I have taken the liberty to create another contest tagged 2nd Chance Participants - e funny, make I laff now . Good . And it is by invitation only - for those who got disqualified already. So that their progress can be on par with the others.

Meanwhile, I have gone ahead to edit our main contest and remove the restrictions that disqualified our brothers. PLEASE, THE 0.1 LOT SIZE RULES STILL STANDS and 5 POSITIONS, MAXIMUM, STILL APPLIES. [b]NO SAY YOU NO HEAR O AND THEN GO DEY RUN 1 LOT SIZE TRADES. THE END WILL TELL. WE WILL CROSSCHECK ALL YOUR ENTRIES AND CLOSING TIMES. [/b]AND IF YOU ARE FOUND WANTING, YOU AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT THE PRIZE TO THE NEXT WINNER (and same routine check ensues, untill we are satisfied we have a winner who didn't CHEAT)

You should have left the restrictions as it is. Rules are rules. Mistakes happen right but then again, as a trader, we should be accountable for all of our actions. That's what makes a great trader.

Though I was against the competition at first but seeing how the rules was set up.. it will make we the viewers know the level of preparedness of the trader in succeeding in props and also it will make the trader know the truth himself
To all the participants don't panic,be calm and trade the way you use to do
Is not a must for you to win it but trade in a way that will make u know how far uve grown compared to the eventual winners
If you lose at the end of it cos you all can't win it don't come and give excuses on why you failed but take it as an indicator of more work to be done

this is not about bending rules. I enter trade with 1lot and quickly close the trade within 3 seconds with 25pip loss . abeg if na you be organizer does such scenerio what disqualification? I thought such kind of thing is common here.
coz I remember vividly people telling infofirst that dey mistakenly open a position with big lot and close it immediately. and any time such complain are tendered to infofirst he always wave it off and ask them to continue trading. this is not about cheating, this is about human error.
Let any one of you who has never committed this innocent mistake be the first to throw a stone.

Big bosses, sorry, I no bend any rules - 0.1 maximum lot size still stands. And 5 open positions maximum, as well. I ONLY REMOVE A PARTICULAR SETTING (see image) so that anyone who mistakenly take trades above the stipulated 0.1 lot size doesn’t get disqualified, as long as he quickly corrects it. And that was why I say WE will thoroughly check winners' trades to be sure they merit the awards.

And I believe boss Infofirst made the settings like dis, cos I still remember I pulled a 1 lot size trade in one of his contest, but I wasn't disqualified. And I told him dat I closed it as quickly as I opened it.
