Whoever that singer is, the lawyer who defended him doesn't know what he or she is doing. Putting someone on trial for the case of blaspheming against another religion is a no no. I believe that singer was trialed for offenses capable of causing breach of peace etc, not blaspheming.

Also, Sharia law isn't unconstitutional. It is visibly enshrined in the 1999 constitution. So whoever commits blaspheming will be trialed for offenses relating to causing breach of peace etc, not for blaspheming, as long as the person isn't a Muslim.

The matter of Jurisdiction is moot since offence was commited in a Sharia state that defaults to Sharia law for both civil and criminal matters.

Your point about Jurisdiction over non-Muslims is neither here no there, because the people that practice Sharia where they want to practice already do so, and have been doing so since 1960.
