Yoruba Muslims are way different from their brothers up north

When i served in Kebbi, i had this friend that was a tailor ; a yoruba guy

He told me that whenever there is a religious crisis, he and his family will follow the Christians to flee because the Northerners don't consider them as real muslims

So many reasons to split this country into 36.

on the contrary, I asked you to show me where Sharia law is the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. I didn't ask for you to show me where Sharia law is among the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. They are two different things.

My point about jurisdiction isn't here or there. It is fact. Muslims in the south, many of them don't even practice Sharia. Heck, many of them in the south don't even observe their 5 times daily prayer. In the north it is different.

So bro, Sharia law is not the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. Non Muslims can't be trialed over offenses relating to Islam, this is why most Muslims in the north always resort to Mon action whenever things like blaspheming happen.
Your question was wrong then, because Federal Republic of Nigeria has multiple legal frameworks not just one.

Again you're arguing about jurisdiction which is completely irrelevant to this discussion.

Sharia is a law that is applicable all over Nigeria. In Sharia states, it is literally state law. If you commit in Zamfara, it doesn't matter if you're a muslim or not, you must collect. This has been tested in the courts this year and validated.

Outside Sharia states it applies to civil matters only, and only as long as all parties opt in, which is the for customary law

Educate us bro. That's my understanding of Ahmadiyyah though. They are siting a University in Osun State, Minaret University. Guess you know?
Yeah I know. Infact, they virtually dominate kogi central and you saying, they have a prophet aside prophet Muhammed is not true.

Although they have leaders which they revered just like other sects, and I'm not blind to the fact that they praise and hold their leaders high for whatever reasons but they never consider them as prophets.

For me, I can equate some of their way of worships to southern Muslims.... They like dancing, singing, occasions, and mixing with opposite gender unnecessarily but guess what, they majorly acts like they don't take their prayer serious. Its not like they don't pray, they do, but having a full prayer less than a minute is no no for me.

Lolz, the statement he made was self explanatory boss. I think Izzou and one other guy here have once acknowledged the fact that his position was never wrong base on his belief if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, Islam is divided, that's why Saudis are bombing Yemenis. That's why Arab Nations hate Iran.

That's why Arab Nations are so scared of Hezbollah including ISIS!

In Nigeria, a Sect called Izalatul Bid'ah Wa Iqamatul Sunnah, popularly known as Tablig would never accept someone like Iamoyindamola as a Muslim.
Most of them don't even answer your salama, if you don't have thick long beard....

I've read of 'amala turning' as concept on this board. What I didn't know was that you are its proponent.
Again that someone believe in the punishment for blasphemy according to the laws that guide their belief doesn't mean the person support jungle justice.

According to Sharia Law that the North practice, the alleged blasphemers will be tried at the court (Sharia Court) and if the person is proven guilty, that's when the punishments comes into effect not when some errant mob decided to take matters their own hands. That's jungle justice. The same thing with the Aluu 4 who were burnt to death because of alleged stealing.

This was my point too. You don't have to be a Moslem to be subjected to the law

when did the laws of islam become the law of the federal republic of Nigeria?
Deborah wasn't tried under any law or court.

She was killed by a mob doing jungle justice.

The pertinent part of the quote is this:

He didnt shy away from his belief that blasphemers against his religion deserve the death penalty. However he argues that he only supports the penalty as handed out by the Sharia Court following a judicial trial.

At some point, I even admitted that people should behave according to their environment that very day, but did with my full chest, no grammar packaging.

He supported the killing of Deborah, how it was done doesn’t matter, fact remains that he supported the fact that she was killed for WhatsApp group’s message.

Hmm. Accurately said.
Whether he supported jungle justice or not, the fact that he supported killing Deborah on the basis of WhatsApp messages is an indictment on his radicalism.

Naa. I guess I am sunni. Or rather, I am the true confam believer. The rest of you will be directly under the sun on the Day.

And you my friend will be knacking those babes with gall tongue, hook Bush and fire pussy. angry

What I am saying is that ultimately anyone invested in a religious belief system will belive he and fellow adherents are going to heaven and everyone else is going to hell

Though the thing about the fire pussy babes is in the Qur'an or hadith for those who like illegal sexual intercourse too much.

Wow!! Obasanjo finally publicly endorses Obi for the presidency.
SW will be a tough battleground. APC has never had a stranglehold on the region.

I'm still ready to stake with anyone that Obi will win the south. He will have the highest number of the entire southern votes cumulatively put together.

Which of the statement from him are you having issue comprehending?
He condemned the way she was killed but would have preferred going through a judicial process which it would have been 2years max jail term or something like that if found guilty.

This is what any sane country, society, or religions rely to punish offenders.

I am frankly not in agreement with the blasphemy laws either. If those things are to really be pushed every last one of us will have multiple sentences.

Lols, in Sharia, death penalty is the punishment for convicted blasphemers.

Thank goodness Sharia isn't the official legislative framework of the whole federation. If not, many Christians, traditional worshippers, and freethinkers would have been killed by blood-thirsty Muslims for so-called blasphemous statements while the Muslims blaspheme daily the teachings of other faiths.

Some people would consider your position extreme too.

For example, here in UK, we dont have the death penalty for any crime
