They're just playing on Yoruba hatred/resentments for the igbos. Nothing else! They're aware of this and are playing it to their advantage. The Yoruba political establishment under Tinubu would rather vote for a Rwandan or Burmese to be the president of Nigeria rather than vote for the best Igbo brain. The hate is intense and since you need the agreement of two of the three major ethnic groups in the country to run the show, the fulani has basically decided to play divide and rule amongst the other two while dropping crumbs for the Yoruba st intervals leaving the igbos to agitate.
